Mold in the bathroom shower. Floor dirty.
We didnt have breakfast , opted out and slept in every morning as the Beds were super comfy ;) The Beds , the excellent staff, the Pool omg .... a salt water pool that was so relaxing and stayed open late ...11pm we really enjoyed the pool and were in a room that all we had to do was open our door and take about 10 steps and JUMP IN THE POOL LOL ! It was fantastic !!! I have to give a special shout out to the front desk associate, our new friend Mina. She was really knowlegable and professional .,and so friendly , you could tell she really loved her job ! Mina was from Serbia and just here for the summer and getting to know our culture , We spoke with her for some time and she told us how it was in her country ...made our lil Mini Vacay much more interesting ~~!!!!
There was very little we didnt like ....hmmm maybe fix a few AC units so the condensate wouldnt leak by the entrance to the rooms so you wouldnt have to walk thru the condensate water , which was very small amount , thats really about it , oh and maybe some sort of instructions on the Induction stove tops ....wife accidentally turned ours on and couldnt figure out how to turn it off lol when all it was actually was the fancy on /off symbol thats starting to be used hahahaha ,if she had of known about it she could have just used it and problem solved...;)

Both Janet and Mateja at the front desk was very helpful and very courteous very professional and took the extra time to accommodate our stay.
There was also a young girl from serbia I just can't remember her name that worked at the front desk as well and she did excellent as well but the whole staff was very friendly and very professional and just makes you want to come back.
The restaurant that's right beside it or attached to it was very good with a $25 voucher when we stayed and it was very good and very good staff that worked there too as well.

The rooms were great and looked clean and updated. I loved the hallway with the interior doors. The location was fabulous for our needs. This is a perfect place for a couple or a family of four without any needs of mobility concerns! . It has all the amenities you might need.
We just didn’t have as much access for a wheelchair and walker. I wish the bathroom would have had grab bars or was slightly larger to be safer for them.
The only good thing about the property is the location
The property is run down and extremely dirty. Pet friendly but was told when I booked it was a $50 fee after driving over 5 hours to the property I was charged $125 for a pet fee.
It was close to parks and activities.
It smelled bad and the room has bed bugs. Very disgusting .
This was my 3rd time booking this hotel. The pool, hotel bar and grounds were clean. The location was great- close to OBX towns, Rt 12 and Roanoke Historical stuff. The booking was easy, and the hotel staff behind the counter was attentive, courteous and kind. AC worked great.
This was my 3rd time booking this hotel, and the first time it didn't meet my expectations .The rooms were unclean-stained couches and the floor had a layer of dirt and grime so much that we didn't feel comfortable walking around without shoes.
We stayed for 5 days and never had our room turned over by a cleaner. Their policy is every 3rd day- but we never saw a maid. Thankfully i travel with trash bags and cleaning supplies- something you might consider.
The walls and doors didn't do an good job of keeping cross unit noise down- barking dogs and crying babies woke us up numerous times. Doors had to be slammed to engage the locks, which pretty much made sleeping in an impossibility.
Bring an hdmi cable to hook up your laptop if you want to watch anything decent on tv.
Other reviews mentioned the bright outside lights, while annoying- it was manageable.
Bright looking building inside and out . Friendly and courteous staff
We went out for the day and couldn't get back in the room. Replacement keys and master key wouldn't work. The gentleman on duty was very persistent in figuring out the problem.
The entire staff was very helpful.
