Categories

Cleanliness
7.3
Mixed mentions: several guests call the hotel clean and well-kept, but there are specific complaints about a strong musty/closed-in odor on arrival in some rooms and faint smells in corridors that lowered overall cleanliness sentiment.
Service
9
Consistently praised: staff described as very professional, cheerful, helpful and efficient (late arrival handled well); multiple comments highlight friendly, attentive reception and helpful agents.
Location
9.6
Very strong: repeatedly noted as ideal/near the train station, tram, castle and city centre; described as 'inmejorable', 'bien situé' and 'emplacement +++', making location a standout strength.
Room Quality
8
Generally positive: rooms often described as spacious with comfortable beds and excellent showers, but there are recurring minor issues (sofa-bed mattress uncomfortable, toilet seat too high in some rooms) that moderate the rating.
Amenities
7.8
Moderate: breakfast and basic amenities are good, but guests noted lacks/annoyances (elevator language not in French, suggestion for anti-slip in shower, limited evening dining options) that prevent a top score.
Value for Money
8.8
Positive: several guests explicitly cite good price and 'bon rapport qualité prix', combined with a strong breakfast offering, supporting a higher-than-average value perception.
Food and Beverage
8.9
Strong: breakfast repeatedly described as excellent, varied and good value (fresh fruit, variety, 'petit déjeuner gourmand'), though some guests wish for more evening dining options nearby.
Overall Experience
8.6
Generally very positive: many 'parfait' and repeat guests, calm nights for most, easy access to city; a few negatives (smell on arrival, small nuisances) slightly lower the overall score.
