Important information:

Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.
Please inform Sonder The Slate in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
A damage deposit of CAD 400 is required. The host charges this 7 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.
After confirmation, Sonder will reach out to guests through a secure link to gather some information regarding their stay. Sonder may require the guest to provide a photo of their government-issued photo ID. Guests will receive check-in details from property management three days prior to arrival. Please note: the layout, furniture, and decor of your space may vary from these photos. There's no kitchen, laundry facility, or cable. We've provided a Roku for streaming.

Sonder offers all guests the ability to book housekeeping services on-demand for a nominal fee. This ensures you can enjoy an uninterrupted and environmentally sustainable stay. Housekeeping services must be scheduled via the Sonder app, 24 hours in advance.

Wirklich tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis
Pros:

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen, um Einiges zu Fuss erreichen zu können. Das Zimmer war sehr grosszügig und sauber und viel schöner als das Hotel von aussen vermuten lässt.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Der Zugang zum Hotel mi einem Türcode gibt einem für Nachts ein noch sichereres Gefühl.
Das Angebot in der Hotel-App passte uns gut.

Cons:

Im Zimmer gab es ein, zwei Mängel, die reparaturbedürftig waren. Aber nichts schlimmes, was uns eingeschränkt hätte.

Uncomfortable stay
Pros:

The location is probably the only highlight.

Cons:

Before arriving, I was getting plenty of unnecessary emails. Getting into room feels like being criminal as one needs to go through a tedious process of ID and face verification. The room is extremely noisy from outside trafic. Doors into the bathroom are really heavy and hard to open. There were black hairs on a bathtub wall from previous customer. The wifi password contains symbols I barely know where to find on the keyboard, making it annoying to type. Lastly, they have ignored (or missed) my message request for days.
I would discourage anyone from booking this hotel, it is not worth the price.

Super Hotel in Downtown Toronto
Pros:

Das Hotel ist perfekt gelegen in Downtown Toronto. Der Zugang beim Eingang und zum Zimmer erfolgt mit einem Code. Es hat auch ein Gym, das ebenfalls mit dem Code betreten werden kann. Das Zimmer war gross, sauber und modern und das Bett sehr bequem. Es hatte einen kleinen Kühlschrank, eine Kaffeemaschine, einen Teekocher, viele Ablagemöglichkeiten, einen Schrank, ein Bügelbrett und Bügeleisen, viele Spiegel, ein grosses Waschbecken etc. Es ist ein bisschen laut, man hört sowohl die Strasse als auch andere Gäste auf dem Gang. Aber in einer Grossstadt habe ich damit gerechnet und trotzdem sehr gut geschlafen. Es stehen auch Ohropax und eine White Noise Soundmaschine zur Verfügung. Am Abreisetag kann man sein Gepäck in der Lobby in einem kostenlosen Schliessfach aufbewahren.

Cons:

Das Badezimmer hat schon ein bisschen abgewohnt gewirkt, es gab einige unschöne Stellen bei den Platten oder unter dem Waschbecken. Die Funktionalität war aber nicht beeinträchtigt. Auch war der Duschvorhang war zu kurz.

A smart way to stay in an excellent location at a good price.
Pros:

Great location
Very luxurious room for the price
The check in and e-entry stuff all worked perfectly
A problem with our room was sorted out very quickly and efficiently by excellent on site staff and the help line.
We liked the " low touch" model and would stay with Sonder again.

Cons:

Bathrooms are a bit too "design over function" but that's a taste issue.

It was a good fit for what we needed
Pros:

Room was nice and clean and bed was comfy. Great location. There were lots of great restaurants within walking distance and near train station.

Cons:

Beautiful bathroom but not very practical. Nowhere to hang towels and no room by the sink for makeup bag or toiletries. The tub was very deep…hard to get in and out of without slipping.
