Pros:

Pipes bursting did hamper my ability to shower and get to the event I was in town for in a timely manner. No notice was provided to guests that plumbing work was required on Saturday afternoon. This should have been provided.

Cons:

Pipe burst impacted my visit.

Quiet and comfortable hotel.
Pros:

The hotel was nice and the room was quiet and comfortable. The property is nicely located right by a busy shopping area but separated enough.

Cons:

I am very used to a Courtyard by Marriott in Weston FL that has more to offer. The FL hotel has a full kitchen and cafe where you can order hot cooked food . The Summerville location does not have that. They also did not have an actual dedicated employee working the Starbucks counter. The front desk staff has to run back and forth.

Pros:

This hotel is taking the term r4pe to a whole new level. $5 apiece for a soda at the 'Market', with a selection of exactly three possibilities. I'm just glad I wasn't that thirsty.

Pros:

Selected this location to attend a family wedding. Great location centrally location for events in Cypress Gardens and to visit Historic Charleston (30 minutes away) during rush hour.

Property issues
Pros:

Staff was very friendly, but there are issues at the property. There was an issue with the water in the building when we checked in - but we weren't informed - there was no water in the bathroom. Once fixed, our sink was inoperable - we changed rooms and were given $20 in food coupons. We were not aware until check in that the Bistro was not open on weekends and served limited breakfast.
