We have been treated so well by all the staff! Ivan the concierge has been very helpful and welcomed us to a cocktail happy hour 1 evening in the garden bar. Luis has been so kind and friendly while serving a great drink. The room is beautiful. Good location short walk to via Argentina. Nice casino and sportsbook. I was worried that location would be too far away from balboa. It’s a $2.50 uber ride or short 20 minute walk to cinta costera . Love this property!

Stay away from this money vacuum hotel..manager tells me if l gamble l get free drinks..played on machines for over 1 hour no waitresses and no drinks.

Plus they took a tax on your winnings

Very entertaining, great food, great staff.

At this hotel for four nights and paid over $1,000, so I expected a certain level of cleanliness and upkeep. Unfortunately, the room did not meet even basic standards. Upon arrival, the room did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There were noticeable cleanliness issues that made the stay uncomfortable and disappointing. Moldy shower corners, brown stains on washcloths, stained surfaces, dirty fingerprints on leather headboards, etc. See attached pics. 🫩 For a property charging these rates, attention to detail and proper housekeeping/maintenance should be a priority.
Cleanliness is one of the most fundamental expectations when booking a hotel, and it was disappointing that this was not met upon check-in.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves housekeeping standards, because the location and concept of the hotel have potential. However, based on this experience, the value did not match the price paid. Management did change my room but it was just okay, cleanliness wise. I went across the street to the store to purchase Lysol cleaning spray to wipe down everything and give me piece of mind. Needless to say, I'm pretty disappointed but will make the best of it. Wouldn't recommend or return.

Although, I haven't used it yet. The pool and spa area are beautiful, though.

The Spa of the Sortis always offert a great experience. The place is spacefull, elegant and warm. The staff is welcoming, attentive, always ready to facilitate.
Today I had the 1 hour Fulll Body Massage. It was excellent! Relaxing and adapted to my needs to relax the musckes after the gym trainings all week. The massage space, the rituals and the massage practices are very professional an high quality.
The spa zone with its hot dry sauna, the hammam, the hot bathes, the relaxing zone are all spacious, with soft natural light and great confort and service.
And, the pool is one of the rare pool in Panama City where you can really swim!
I recommend it to anyone visiting Panama City or living in Panama City !

The hotel facility and staff were outstanding and what truly made our stay especially unforgettable was the exceptional concierge service provided by Ivan, who is fluent in both English and Spanish. He went above and beyond in every way from recommending incredible restaurants and securing reservations to providing us with a great overview of Panama‘s history and culture. What I also loved tremendously about Panama, it was very safe.

The Hotel Sortis is an incredible beautifully hotel in the middle of Panama City. Its location is right next to numerous bars and eateries and steps away from the metro. The rooms were massive and some comfortable with amazing views.

The staff is so friendly and accommodating, even if you speak horrible Spanish, like I do myself. Big thank you to supervisor, Christian Boston (manage got his last name wrong) but he was so helpful with my check in process. He was extremely nice and patient. He’s the best!

My wife and I traveled there to meet our family to celebrate two birthdays and as soon as we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted and felt very welcomed.

I went to the concierge for assistance with making plans to visit San Blas islands. I spoke with a gentleman named Ivan, who was very knowledgeable and helpful and he explained everything to me for the day trip. I told him, I was also making dinner plans for my wife’s 50th birthday and I asked him about several restaurants I was interested in going to.

Hotel was very comfortable and relaxing and clean. The restaurants inside the hotel were really good and it was really nice having the option of the one restaurant being open 24 hours a day. The Casino was comfortable and the staff was very attentive and courteous.

Great hotel and great staff and huge thank you to Ivan for all your help and kindness!!!!!

Les collaborateurs de l hôtel sont réactif et très commerçants, l hôtel est récent environ 7 ans, les chambres sont grandes. C est un hôtel xxl par sa tailles avez des restaurants tout autour.
Yvan le concierge de l hôtel nous a accueilli de manière parfaite, il fut un hôte exceptionnel nous servant de guide pour nos recherches. N hésitez pas à le solliciter.
C est un hôtel très bien entretenu, régulièrement mise à jour dans ces services, de nombreuses animations lors de la semaine dans les restaurants.

Habitación con vista a la ciudad, espaciosa y con sistema de iluminación moderno, baño también con espacio adecuado, desayuno con bastante variedad.

7 out of 11 treadmills were BROKENl; and at least 3 of the working ones had a belt that started DANGEROUSLY slipping at 6mph. I told the manager and his response was "I keep telling senior management".

Casino sells memberships to the public so it was packed and annoying.

AC didnt work very well

Shower kept alternating between freezing and burning water uncontrolled.

Room smelled like mold.

Breakfast ran out of yogurt completely because "we think we think somebody forgot to order"

Oh and there were many women who acted like they wanted to get "hired" in the casino. Unverified, but likely.

And lastly....even though I was on a regular rate (no restructions or prepay) -- and that i am a titanium member, they refused to let me check out a day early. RIDICULOUS

We stayed 4 nights at Sortis. Check in took a long time. We met Ivan at concierge who is not very good. He gave us wrong information several times and was completely useless. The breakfast buffet wasn’t good. The rooms are old and outdated. This hotel is more of a 3 star level. I would stay somewhere else when visiting Panama City.
