Hotel Mountview

Overall a decent place to stay. It does and at times doesn't give you a vibe of a 5 star hotel. Services were pretty quick but the reception was average.
The room was spacious and in decent condition bathroom was a let down. Aircon somehow was a bit too cold even after adjusting the thermostat. The buffet in the morning was pretty limit and even had found a hair in one of the dishes (that was unacceptable and disgusting).

It’s a has been hotel which needs a major overhaul, no social distance and not a Covid rate hotel, food is so so can’t rate it. Won’t be coming back here going to my usual Taj hotel Chandigarh

I spent an evening and a night before early mornign checkout and heading to hotel. Good things: nice lobby, great lawns for jogging around on the property, good food and decent sized rooms.

Location is at the right place of the city; everything is reasonably closedby.

The hotel is in need of a refurb, otherwise the location and scenery is magnificent

This hotel has probably been outstanding once upon a time, with great reception and lobby, friendly staff and very good food, especially the breakfast buffet.

What was very disappointing was that the swimming pool and fitness center were out of order due to full renovation.

Fitness center/gym was my no 1 search choice on Hotels in Chandigarh.
Unfortunately, I would never have stayed at this hotel if I had known about this information when booking.

I feel very cheated about this. Also, it made the evenings terrible boring, because it was nothing else to do in this neighbourhood.

The airport shuttle never showed up. Preporation for garden party wend on all night: loud noise. Loud music all next afternoon.. Vert hard to get Amy sleep or rest in this hotel.
Mould in bathroom. Simpel breakfast for a ****!.

Pool under construction, fitness center not operational. Bathrooms shitty.you can hear sound of persons taking inside 4th room.Breakfast is just ok, i give ok for breakfast just because of variety they have otherwise taste is just satisfactory

Location is excellent with many eateries and shops nearby. Parking facilities for car is great and staff is well behaved and responsive.

Would love to visit again!

séjour de 3 nuits ( formule chambre et petit-déjeuner), chambre "Deluxe", orientée vers l'espace intérieur et la piscine. Pas de bruit de rue . grande baie vitrée non ouvrante ( inconvénient: l'humidité stagne dans la pièce, car l'air se renouvelle mal ) . Il faut demander une chambre avec balcon, donc avec baie ouvrante, type prévu dans la catégorie "Deluxe". Buffet petit-déjeuner parfait. Pas de navette gratuite pour l' aéroport ( prévoir 2500 roupies A/R ).

Pool is a disaster with no service or lounges. The picture shows many lounges with an umbrella - there were none! Water seemed unclean. Also, no beverage or food service at pool. Rooms have an "old" smell and are in a desperate need of updating. AC barely effective during the day time. This was a great hotel 20 years ago, but seems no money has been invested to update the place. Staff is nice. Food is decent. Location is very good.
