The owner is really nice, smiling and accommodating our needs. We have booked a big room with an extra bed. That seemed a bit too small for fit the 5 of us - so I asked for an extra room, which was no problem at all and she even discounted that extra room for us. The room would have fit the 5 of us - but it would have been a bit too crowded/difficult to move around the luggages and so, that's why I asked for the extra room, which was a good choice. The breakfast was nice, although nothing that very special (maybe had a bit too much expectations after the reviews). All in all - good stay, extremely good value for money. I would not mind staying again. The hotel is quite well situated - close to restaurants and there is a lot of night life on the streets. However - the hotel is located in a second row from the street, so we didn't experience any noise discomfort and had a good sleep.

Great breakfast, great location, great hosts

We arrived early in the morning after taking the sleeper bus from Hanoi. Even though we were hours before check in, we were allowed to leave our luggage in the hotel and offered a welcome drink. We then went and got breakfast somewhere close by and then were able to check in earlier than the expected time. The staff were so helpful and friendly - they recommended an amazing tour of Bach Ma National Park and organised our ongoing journey to Hoi An. We ended up staying an extra night and that was no problem for them. The breakfast was a good choice and my two boys loved the banana pancakes and hot chocolate for breakfast.
The location is perfect for exploring the city of Hue and for enjoying the entertainment at night as it’s within walking distance to the imperial city and river and it is close by to the main nightlife.
Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is well located, friendly staff, Breakfast was fine. However, the rooms didn’t meet the expectations as we found the shower in the bathroom a bit dirty. The AC didn’t have enough power and it was dripping water inside the room.
We booked this hotel based on the reviews, but we feel their reviews score doesn’t match reality.

Lovely staff, my room was upgraded which was fantastic as I had not realised I had booked a room with no window, for the price including breakfast found it was good value.

The owner was really helpful and organized some trips for us. The area around the hotel is great, many restaurants!

The staff was so welcoming and caring. The room was very clean and comfortable. There's an elevator, although small, which is always appreciated. Location is great but still stays quiet. Lovely place to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our several-day stay at the Hong Thien Ruby Hotel. The location is outstanding, right off a lively street near the river with plentiful restaurants and shopping, but at the end of a peaceful alley. The owner graciously arranged transportation for us from the airport and then a personal escort from a main street because the smaller street was closed to traffic on the weekends. There are a number of vegetarian/vegan restaurants in the area, and Ruby Hotel provided ample choices and basically all you can eat for breakfast. The rooms are spacious with plenty of hot water and toiletries. I highly recommend Hong Thien Ruby Hotel!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They spoke English sufficiently well to communicate, which is not always the case in most hotels we stayed in Vietnam

Hotel location was excellent — close to bars and restaurants but tucked away from the main street, so it was nice and quiet at night. Around 30min walk from Imperial city. The room was spacious and comfortable, though a bit outdated, but for the price, it was definitely worth it. Breakfast was good as well. They offered a small menu to order from, and the food was good. Overall, a great value for money!

The husband and wife team at reception are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the many options for breakfast, cooked when you order what you want. They accommodated my gluten free dietary needs very well. The room was nice and clean, and well appointed. Great location just off the busy pedestrian street (on weekends) with lots of restaurants and shops, but quiet since it’s half a block down an alley.
