Good hotel to stay in Monteverde
Pros:

Clean, good location, excellent view. Breakfast was good (maybe sometimes gone quickly in the morning). There are dinner options and a cafe too and the hotel own's a small forest reserve for a nice hike with chances to spot wildlife. Overall nice stay in Monteverde

El hotel es realmente muy lindo. En cuanto a estructura, decoración, comodidades y limpieza superó mis expectativas y, en líneas generales, tuvimos una buena estadía. Sin embargo, creo que hay algunos puntos en la atención y organización que podrían mejorar considerablemente la experiencia.

Cons:

Al llegar no había nadie en recepción y tuvimos que esperar más de 15 minutos al gerente, que se encontraba ocupado realizando algunos arreglos. Entendemos perfectamente que pueden surgir imprevistos, pero después de la espera la recepción fue bastante apresurada. No recibimos ayuda con el equipaje y tampoco una explicación o acompañamiento completo hasta la habitación. Considerando el nivel y las instalaciones del hotel, esperábamos una bienvenida un poco más atenta.
Otro punto a tener en cuenta es el restaurante. Fuimos a cenar aproximadamente una hora antes del horario de cierre informado (21:30), pero nos indicaron que esa noche cerrarían antes porque un grupo grande alojado en el hotel cenaba afuera y, como nosotros no habíamos avisado previamente que queríamos cenar allí, no podían atendernos. Entiendo que pueda ser necesario organizar el servicio con anticipación, pero creo que esto debería informarse claramente al huésped al momento del check-in. Estando de vacaciones, uno no necesariamente planifica con tanta anticipación dónde va a cenar, y nos presentamos con una hora de margen respecto del horario de cierre, no a último momento. Si el restaurante se ofrece como uno de los servicios del hotel, resulta un poco incómodo sentir que, por ser pocos huéspedes esa noche, el servicio deja de estar disponible.

Really nice hotel with great rooms and good view
Pros:

Large rooms, good location near Monteverde with really nice views, great breakfast

Cons:

Shower located in the wide and deep bath was a bit difficult to climb into - a nice touch was that a handrail was included.

Excelente opcion de estadía
Pros:

Está ubicado cerca del centro, tiene un sendero corto dentro de las mismas instalaciones que lleva a un lago. Me hicieron un upgrade a una habitación con una vista espectacular el Golfo de Nicoya. Se puede parquear el auto cerca de la habitación. El desayuno estaba bastante bueno y el personal muy amable. Las instalaciones son muy bonitas y tiene restaurante abierto en horario específico. La comida es muy buena, en sabor y precio.
