Golden Rock auf Nevis ist ein absolutes Traumhotel und verdient eine klare 10/10. Die wunderschöne Botanik der Anlage ist einzigartig und schafft eine ruhige, magische Atmosphäre. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben sind der uns ermöglichte Early Check-in sowie das kostenlose Zimmer-Upgrade, die den Aufenthalt von Beginn an außergewöhnlich gemacht haben. Das Hotel ist ein Ort zum Entspannen und Genießen, den man unbedingt erlebt haben sollte.

The hotel was stunning! Set in the jungle and in beautiful wooden cabins, it feels like low-key luxury. The restaurant was lovely, it’s quite popular on the island but the staff make sure hotel guests get good tables and are catered for. It’s very very quiet, so if you are looking for relaxation it’s perfect. The grounds are beautifully curated, it feels like you are staying in a botanical garden. The general manager was a gem, he sorted out a small issue with our room very quickly and was so hospitable for the rest of our stay, he couldn’t do enough to help. Can’t wait to go back one day!

The nicest hotel we have ever stayed in, the rooms, service, food and location were all 10/10 couldn’t fault a thing. It’s inland and slightly high up so with this and the shelter/shadow of the gardens made it much cooler and breezy than lower properties. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive and very accommodating. It was quiet and felt very exclusive, a hidden gem.

Excellent restaurant!!! A different vegetable soup everyday in the menu. Conch chowder is a famous and highly recommended!!! Staff is very polite and attentive and goes far beyond expectations. Hotel has accommodated all our extra requests. Hotel is located inside of the botanic garden, actually. Very nice. The houses are quite far from each other, we have never feel crowded. Pillows are great!

Golden Rock Inn is breathtaking! The property’s lush landscaping, eclectic decor, and serene ambiance make you feel as if you’ve stepped into a secluded jungle retreat. The peaceful pool area, combined with thoughtfully placed seating nooks throughout the grounds, creates the perfect setting to unwind—whether you’re soaking in nature or getting lost in a good book. A truly unique and tranquil escape!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious, with large, satisfying portions. Breakfast was included during our stay, and we also had our best dinner on the island at the hotel’s restaurant—it was unforgettable!

Even though the property has WiFi, we truly felt off the grid—there were no TVs or unnecessary digital distractions in our room or around the property, allowing us to fully recharge and connect with each other and our surroundings. It was the perfect place to slow down and be present.

The Golden Rock is a beautiful, low intensity hotel complex, with exceptional gardens. It offers something quite different than other hotels in Nevis. The staff were exceptionally helpful and caring. They also helped to make arrival easy by organizing a seamless transfer from the airport to the water taxi and then to the hotel. Highly recommend

Beautiful hotel that is well-maintained. Hotel manager, gardeners, and restaurant team do a phenomenal job. Food is some of the best on the island and the setting is unbeatable.

This property is amazing, from the arrival to departure. The gardens are beautiful, people are amazingly hospitable, food taste homemade (you can taste the love in it), and it is safe.

I highly recommend this property for your vacation! I’d only share that if you like to have air conditioning then I’d prepare to either send a mobile AC unit ahead of your arrival or, you should see if you can buy one here. The nighttime tropical winds are nice but if it’s humid outside, it can present some discomfort for the person who requires AC for sleeping.

The Golden rock Inn is a very special place. Up in the cooler rainforest on the side of Nevis Peak, it is a paradise of greenery and tranquility. The grounds are spectacular, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and extremely gracious, it feels like a private hideaway on a hillside with an absolutely, amazing restaurant to boot! We came for several quiet days after a stay at the Four Seasons, and it was the perfect counterpoint to a beautiful stay on Nevis. Highly recommend!

Excellent quality and service.

Truly unique and beautiful place. It used to be a sugar plantation and still has the stonework, historical feel. The gardens are beautiful.
The service was not great. I must say, Sara is awful. Luckily I was able to work with the general manager to book activities, such as the garden tour, and he was fantastic.
There is not much to do either on the island generally or in the hotel itself, so I recommend no more than a 3 night stay.
To the hotel, I recommend maybe implementing more activities that can be done on-property, and a better way to convey those to the guests (Sarah should not be working in a customer facing role).

We have stayed before and will likely stay again. The location/grounds are incredible, rooms are lovely and the management team are great. Incredible location for a pool, very relaxing.
