I have stayed here a few times and it is always excellent
Good location and breakfast staff were lovely
Fire alarm went off at 3am and after 20 seconds stopped. Sleep disturbed for me then for the night so I was not happy. On enquiring in the morning what happened it turns out customers smoke in the rooms and set off the alarms regularly. The management do not levy a fee on these customers so they get away with breaking the law and every other customer suffers. I asked to speak with the manager was told they were not at the hotel but would definitely call me. Shock horror I did not receive a call back. I would advise you not to book this hotel unless you are a smoker and enjoy being woken at night by fire alarms. My nights sleep was irrelevant to the management. I am awaiting a full refund
Drink in bar was excellent. Accommodation was perfect. Breakfast was great only complaint was orange juice wasn't fresh. It was concentrated. Only let down. Lady on reception was exceptional as she rang me on way down to tell us to get something to eat as restaurant would be closed. Never had a hotel do that before.

Slightly old fashioned decor but everything was spotless clean and tidy. Food wasn’t so great, had dinner one of the nights we were there and I wouldn’t recommend it, quite pricey and not of a high standard.

Buffet breakfast was cold .
I travelled with my sister who was from Australia to stay at hotel. We were given a view of a brick wall as opposed to a view of the bay. On top of this we were given a disabled room which would have suited a disabled person but definitely not an able body person. Also had dinner, was given no cutlery ( had to fetch ourselves)and we had to clear the glasses ourselves from the table we sat at before hand and had to look at our finished plates for the rest of the night.
