Located in the town, easy access to many street food n attraction. Bed is comfortable

The breakfast has been diminished because of 5he virus situation. I was prepared for it to be bad, BUT IT IS QUITE ADEQUATE. THEY ARE STILL DOING A GOOD JOB.

Clean, relatively comfortable beds, very good breakfast bar. Unexpected extras such as evening complementary drinks and free ice cream. Would definately stay again if in the area.

Excellent location,good breakfast, plus free tea, coffee and cookies all day, with a free glass of wine and Ice cream in the roof top bar in the evening.
Sadly the lift was out of order for part of our stay.
Staff happily carried out heavy suitcases down for us, so not really a problem.

The rooms were very spacious and had comfortable beds. The only issue was that the glass in the windows were not very soundproof and since we were right over Chulia street and next to a mosque, it did get a bit loud, but nothing that impacted our sleep too significantly.
There was free ice cream which you can enjoy over the nice rooftop area. We were spoilt for choice at the breakfast buffet and it was a great way to start the day.
Overall, it's a great stay in a central location.

We just had a night and really it wasn't enough. Check-In was basic with no fuss. We arrived an hr early but was told room wasn't ready and had to wait till 2pm. No worries there. Our room was suitable enough for 2 on a short stay. It was clean, tidy and with all the usual amenities. The buffet breakfast was good and quite filling with many East and West dishes. Hotel's location was spot on with lots of small shops and full stalls all around- also a number of pubs n clubs all in walking distance. My only gripe was reception staff were less then friendly and came across with a not interested attitude. But I think that's subjective. Dinning and rooftop staff though were great!! Overall we enjoyed our short stay. It's a good hotel and recommended.

It's fine. Good size room. Place smells of the strong cleaning products they use.

Great place to stay in Penang!!! Location was perfect. By Love Lane, night food stalls and on the bus route. The hotel was great; nice staff, quiet, comfortable and feee ice cream and wine!!!! Who does that??!!! We enjoyed our stay.

The location of the hotel is very good! Close to many places to eat and drink. The hotel had a nice rooftop that we had a drink at each night, which had a nice view. The staff were not so friendly and didn't seem to care about making our stay comfortable. There was an odd yellow and dripping stain on the wall by the bed and when we brought this to the attention of the girl at the front desk, she quickly cut me off and said she'd send the cleaning crew. They came to look at it, but never actually cleaned it or offered us any type of resolution. We were next to something which made noises all night. It sounded like someone was constantly hanging and rehanging clothes on a rack ALL night, each night we stayed. The location was great, but the hotel was average with less than impressive customer servuce.

Free filtered water and we didn't have to buy any water.

very centrally located hotel and value for money. all staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Each time I re-visit with a stay in CM, I get more impressed with the service staffs there and not forgetting that the room lighting was a vast improvement from my previous stay. I'll be back!

Overall the hotel was very good.The hotels location was excellent as it is located on the main street where the nightlife is and close to all the small street eateries.
The cleaning and breakfast was excellent and staff with the exception of front of house were very friendly and helpful. Special mention to the security door man and chefs who were always friendly, helpful and professional always had a smile. Its a pity the front of house staff were not the same. We found they would not interact unless prompted and sometimes still did not acknowledge you as they were more interested in they're phones than customers. Without this the hotel would have got an excellent. Hoping this can be rectified and I would recommend hotel to others.

Great central location . Housekeeping was excellent. The breakfast service was absolutely wonderful with choice and variety.
Only negative was reception staff were not very receptive. There was no genuine hello as you walked in or out of reception. The staff tended not to make eye contact and kept their heads down.

Buffet breakfast was superb along with available coffees amd snacks. That alone would make me book this hotel again. Loved the rooftop garden and the location. Beds were firm but very comfortable and AC was quiet and effective. I like this hotel in almost every way except for one small thing which was unfortunate—the front desk staff seemed to show very little interest in their guests. Going in and out numerous times, we were never greeted or acknowledged—they just kept their heads down behind the counter. This was not the case with kitchen, dining area or cleaning staff. They were all excellent and friendly.
