Mangodlong Rock Resort

If you wish to have a quick getaway at a very afforable rate yet has the most beautiful white sand resort, Mangodlong Resort should be on top of your list. The food, the staff, the rooms (hey, they have new rooms yayyy!!) all are very recommendable! I also love the fact that they have swimming pools. So when I don't want to swim at the beach, I have the option to enjoy the pool 🏊

as usual, it was the sand, sea, sun, shore and sky that made this beach a great go-to place this summer. located in san francisco, cebu province, this gem has a 3-star accommodation that is budget-friendly.

it has a pool that stays shaded by the surrounding trees. if you want saltwater and bask under the sun, the beach is just 20 meters away. the sand is creamy in color but not as fine as those found in boracay or palawan.

ample parking is available. wifi is stable. they also provide meals chosen from their menu.

So this iconic spot rocks!! (Excuse the pun) the view and the beach cannot be beat, and the staff is outstanding in every respect.

The restaurant is very good, which is a good thing, because there really isn’t a lot of other dinning options nearby. Still, limited dinning takes a back seat to the wonderful setting and relaxing vibe. Of course, this is all true, but you should be aware that if there is one hotel on the island that is a destination for day tourist, it is Mandalong Rock Resort. This simply means that expect to have a full resort every weekend as a number of Instagram wannabes show up to the resort to take countless photos of themselves. And of course, if you’re unlucky enough, you might be treated to a family birthday party with Karoke machine ready to roll over your idealic Vaca.

Still, I’d definitely stay here again, but I’d make sure it was on a week day

Their hospitality, the view, the rocky shore that serves as a habitat of species that we've seen makes this place worth recommending to friends and relatives out there.

I was looking for a relaxing escape from the city and the resort was great for that, staff were great.

- So bad, I didn’t even stay there -

Upon arriving around 12pm, we were told to wait until 2pm to check in. (it was a straight "no, room is not ready. check in is 2pm, come back at 2" - very shocking no hospitality)

This should have alarmed me, but I waited under the sun for a long time... and checked in after 2pm. The room was so tired and dirty, "beach front" room does not have a beach view as they claimed on the description, smelly air in the room, stained bath towels.... I could not stay there, so I complained at the reception, and the manager told me they can't do anything about it, and told me to contact Expedia instead. So I checked out at 2:45pm. Contacted Expedia after I relocate myself to another accommodation. Expedia did all they can to get a hold of hotel rep by emails and phone calls, but the resort ignored all of them. Very disappointed, as the Santiago resort I stayed was not bad, and the owner is the same.

- Photos of the exterior must be old, they now have a beaten up, tired looking octopus slider (which is not functioning) on the small islands area.

Stayed for 3 nights. Location fabulous. Pool excellent. Room comfortable with a/c, flush toilet and hot shower. Staff helpful and polite. Restaurant location on the beach is great but the food not great and expensive. Most Filipino dishes were good but everything else was average. Had 3x breakfast 3 mornings and every egg was overcooked and hard (maybe the Filipino way!). It was also appreciated when we arrived early and were still allowed to check in.

The service was excellent with really nice and accommodating staff.
The room was clean and fresh. Seemed newly renovated with nice decor. Shower and toilet worked well. The cleaning was handled fine.
The location is outstanding right by the sea in a quiet bay with inviting surroundings.
The amenities were satisfactory. The restaurant served local well-cooked food. However, it could take quite a long time to be served when there were many guests. Would have liked a slightly larger selection on the menu and more drinks to choose from.
The best part was the breathtaking view of the sea with ships passing in the distance.
The resort accepts daily guests. This can inevitably be experienced as disturbing if you are looking for a totally calm environment. It didn't bother us though.

Very friendly staff, helpful and patient.
Accommodation, room, is big and very clean. All is well maintained. The beach is cleaned every morning. The kitchen is not so expensive and very good quality. There's free internet, sometimes cuts out but that's to be expected on an island. Would absolutely recommend.

Place was super relaxing and the staff were very accommodating. Looking forward for my next stay in Camotes still at Mangodlong Rock Resort. The price offered by Expedia was such a great deal! I was able to save a lot from the usual walk in price..

This was our 2nd time we stayed for a weekend at this resort. The rooms are spacious and the resort very clean. The restaurant serves good local food and also during this difficult time, we got a nice choice and the food was delicious.

It was a great place, very relaxing and budget-friendly. I enjoyed beach volleyball when I got there with my group. The waters are the best and the sand is really white and clean. This is also a good place to eat seafoods without going over your budget. Planning to revisit this place

I visit Camotes Island last January 22 with co worker for a quick visit since we are from cebu City only . Camotes island is just a small island but lot of beautiful beaches and caves to visit . And one of it is Mangodlong Rock Resort one of the best resort in Camotes . The resort offers whitesand beaches , swimming pool and cliff diving .

The resort is very relaxing and quiet. Pool and beach are ok. Comfort food are available. Staff are also good and accommodating especially James. The only cons is dogs are everywhere and poopoo is visible in the sand.

사실 망고들롱 파라다이스 리조트랑 헷갈려서 여기를 예약했어요. 우선 파라다아스 리조트는 자리도 없었고요. 그래서 처음엔 실망을 할뻔 했는데 락 리조트 앞 바다풍경을 보고 넘 행복했습니다! 스노쿨링하기에도 락 리조트 앞 바다가 훨씬 좋은 거 같아요~ 바다 바로 옆 식당도 있어서 물놀이 하다 바로 망고쥬스도 먹었고 저녁에는 공연도 있어서 좋았어요~ 아기자기한 느낌의 숙소라 기억에 남을 거 같아요. 덕분에 카모테스에서 좋은 추억 남기고 갑니다.

The room was clean very basic. No fridge in the room. The resterant was good at very good prices, out of the seven days we stayed four of those days we had no towels in the room & had to ask for them & two of those days we got one towel between me and my wife. The small beach was nice but you had a lot of day trippers coming in & sometimes they were quite noisy. On the whole we had nice chill out

아름다운전경 맛난음식 그러나 무뚝뚝한 일부 리셉션 직원. 다른 직원은 친절했고 카약을 파라다이스는 무료인데 물록 저렴하긴하지만 무료로이용하면 좋겠다 있는 동안 시간이 안 맞는건지 두번 방문했지만 매번 못탔다

Posizione ottimale anche se la, struttura è un po ' datata. Servizi e cibo a prezzi ragionevoli.
Spiaggia con sassi e seagrass come un po' in tutta L'isola.
Posto tranquillo per rilassarsi.

Mangodlong Rock Resort 餐廳便宜又好吃～我們在camotes五天有四天都在這裡用餐，推薦butter chicken and Mangodlong pizza.

Resort設施完善，比較偏BnB但房間整潔又大，有free wifi，熱水也很夠力。重點私人沙灘極美！比起Santiago beach這兒的海水更藍，美景無價👍

員工也很和善，我們因颱風被困在島上員工都有提醒我們船班訊息，這樣的價格真的物超所值❤️

Overall it is a great value and good location. A short distance to white beach and a scooter rental just outside the front door. The room was great by comparison to others on the island. Spacious, nice bathroom and shower. Clean, nice TV. Coffee service tray. Restaurant was good, staff was good. Try the halo halo when it’s available. The only disappointment was the water slide looks like It hasn’t functioned in several years. The swimming area is a bit rocky but not too bad and it’s the ocean. With a mask and snorkel it’s all there. Overall very interesting, and unique and comfortable. I would stay there again. Very casual. Nice pool.
