Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ok, aber nicht im Sommer!
Pros:

Ich mochte den Stil des Gebäudes. Das Pub und die regelmäßigen Konzerte am Wochenende waren spitze, ebenso wie das Essen im Pub!
Die Zimmer sollten aber auf jeden Fall renoviert werden - man kann dies auch machen ohne den Charme des Hauses zu verlieren bzw. zu verändern, dass wäre nämlich wirklich sehr schade!
Das Badezimmer war ansprechend und immer sauber, die Dusche hatte einen guten Druck!

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind sehr veraltet, bräuchten dringend einen neuen Teppich oder besser einen Holzboden und neue Matratzen. Ich war während der Hitzewelle (ca. 43 Grad) dort und ohne Klimaanlage im Zimmer war es nicht auszuhalten. Es war zwar ein Ventilator im Zimmer, der verteilte die heiße Luft zwar etwas, war aber extrem laut und man konnte nicht schlafen während er lief. Wenn die Zimmer wirklich im Stil des Gebäudes renoviert werden würden, würde es das gesamte Gebäude nochmals aufwerten!

I like it, you get what you pay for, don't expect too much.
Pros:

Location is good, balcony is excellent. It does get noisy, but thats to be expected in a central pub.

Cons:

Room light is way too bright, or could do with a small desk lamp. Ceiling fan doesn't work, however, a portable fan is provided. Very squeaky floorboards.

Cons:

I cancelled the booking upon arrival due to not having car park and not suitable for kids that I already wasn’t aware of that. I requested the cancellation multiple times, and it’s been four days that I haven’t received any response from the hotel

Pros:

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and allowed me to store my luggage safely before I could check in later in the day. Bathroom facilities were basic but very clean, as was the single bedroom I was in. No air con but a large fan was supplied. The hotel above the bar does feel like classic pub accommodation which I really liked! There was also a shared balcony around the top floor which, although I didn't use, was a nice addition. For the price you are paying, it's a really good deal.

Cons:

The mini fridge in my room was lukewarm and didn't keep anything cold (I wasn't planning on storing food in it, but was hoping to keep my water cold because it was very warm). There was a chest of drawers/ dresser with mirror which was great, but one or two more hooks or a rail to hang some clothes up would be useful.

Good location. Good value. I would book there again.
Pros:

Staff were helpfulwith my luggage which I could not take up the stairs.
No breakfast was available - plenty of food outlets close by.
Good location - close yo Central markets, Chinatown and theatre

Cons:

No lifts but I expected that because of the low price.
Nothing else I would complain about.
