Kyah is a beautiful work-in-progress and while we love her charmed, vintage bones, she does need some tending to. We currently have some landscaping taking place on Kyah's grounds but rest assured, the rest of your experience will not be impacted. The Kyah Team apologizes for any inconvenience.

Het hoofdgebouw is prachtig evenals de tuin eromheen. De mensen zijn ontzettend vriendelijk.

De kamer en badkamer waren heel vochtig en daardoor was er veel schimmel, het was niet vies, maar zag er ook niet schoon uit door het vocht.

Perfect location for a quiet night's rest after a day of exploring the Blue Mountains. Lovely bar/restaurant, with a great ambience and a nice choice of both small plates and larger meals to choose from. The bed was comfy and the room was cosy.
Fresh towels and a couple of extra coffees in the room on the second day would have been nice. Hanging space was also limited for 2 people staying for 3 days.
Lovely retro vibe. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great facilities which we would have used if the weather had improved. Dinner at the BLAQ restaurant was a highlight both for its food and the quality of service, and we had coffee and pastries there the next morning.
Finding our room was a little confusing as the numerous texts we got were more about the access codes for the various rooms and facilities and our room number was hidden amongst these. Only one chair for the two of us. Limited space for hanging clothes, but not a problem for a short stay.
Ideally located hotel to explore blue mountains. Excellent restaurant on site! Sauna and hot tub are nice added extras.

Lovely spot, updated really nicely. Lots of great facilities and really clean rooms and areas.
The chickens were in a really small cage and didn’t seem to have a big space to run around in which was a bit sad.

Well presented and easy access parking. Main room was well presented.
The teaspoons had not been cleaned and had sugar and smears stuck on them. The kettle had had a teabag and water in it from previous users and the lid clearly had finger prints smeared from prior use.
I was a little unsure what to expect after reading some of the reviews and staying over a busy weekend, but our stay and our room was perfect! Quiet, clean, gorgeously aesthetic with a bed so comfortable! We booked the spa with ease, had drinks at the bar one night, got a park near our room each night no probs. Hot showers with great pressure, the check in was seamless (we didn’t download the app just used the code they emailed). We stayed in 223 which was on the top level down the very end and found it great. We loved everything about this hotel and found it so unique and clever in design.
Few little improvements, Basketballs were flat, and finding the gym and sauna were tricky with no signage pointing you in the direction, we asked staff in the restaurant as we didn’t see anyone at reception at all, but wasn’t really a prob. They are upstairs from the restaurant for anyone wondering.
Robes would appreciated to walk to and from
the spa in as we did have to walk past the restaurant. Even an extra towel each to use for the spa so you’re not using your bathroom towel.
A small room service menu would be awesome! Everything in town shut quite early on the Sunday and we didn’t fancy the formal restaurant after a big day of hikes.

We loved all the little extra amenities and special features - basketball and tennis court, games room (pool table, pin ball machines, table soccer and even a piano), a "green house" to relax in in extra comfy seats and hanging chairs, the fire pits, the hot tubs, the sauna. A hotel own vegetable and herb garden and a chicken coop. Restaurant Blaq was very enjoyable and has an extensive wine list.
The beds were a little too soft for our liking.
It was an amazing experience , the staff were lovely and we loved how calm everyone was 😊
The bed was too soft and I struggled with my lower back pain. A firmer bed option would preferable and also other pillows options.
