Kyah is a beautiful work-in-progress and while we love her charmed, vintage bones, she does need some tending to. We currently have some landscaping taking place on Kyah's grounds but rest assured, the rest of your experience will not be impacted. The Kyah Team apologizes for any inconvenience.

Beautiful, but not peaceful if your stay coincides with a conference

Self check‑in encouraged instead of service — felt impersonal for a $300/night stay.

I understand these are vital to business but I wasn’t informed and feel that you should host conferences on weekdays or at least let your guests know in advance so we can opt out and book elsewhere as it meant

Lovely cosy theme style hotel. Sad I had a few mishaps.
Pros:

I liked the rooms and the layout, theme and size of the property. The bed was very comfy and the room was very clean. The decor was lovely and hot tub great after a day out in the mountains.

Cons:

There was no one at the front desk which was a bit confusing, having to go and find someone in the restaurant. In my confirmation email I was advised 1 pm check in would be fine, but the staff said check in was 2pm.

I chose Kyah for the sauna and spa. The sauna was not working and the 'hot tub' was not a spa (it was lovely anyway but a bit more detail about this would be good).

The air conditioner was not working in my room. I had to find someone to get me a heater. They got it going in the end.

The breakfast was not set up in the dining room, just a stand where you purchase food over the counter. I was expecting a continental breakfast arrangement.

Cons:

it was noisy - music was played too loudly from speakers positioned all around the property. I could hear it in my room. it came on at 7.30 am and off at 10pm and made it hard to hear conversations on the outside tables.

Palm springs style motel with great restaurant.
Pros:

Loved the way the room is furnished and the grounds. Restaurant was excellent

Cons:

Staff had no idea- We asked for a good walk in the area and they had no idea and said check in later in the app, like they didn't want to talk to us again.
