Super cool, outdoor spa, wonderful staff, great location, spacious rooms
I liked the stay - restaurant is great. The room also good - I liked the big size of the bed. Despite cold weather - warm inside. And apparently not so common in Blackheath - warm water in the bathroom whenever you need it.
The old design of bathrooms doesn't match renovated rooms. There is still a little bit of motel vibes.
Modernised building and facilities. Well kept and overall a great experience
Room wasn’t cleaned while we stayed there. Room bins not changed or towels during stay. No fan in bathroom which you could see condensation and fresh mould in bathroom.
Jen the incredible hostess at the Kyah is such a fantastic person, made us feel so welcome and had a a wonderful sense of humour. She is an absolute asset. Location is wonderful to access local walks like the Grand Canyon and Evans lookout and approx a 5 min drive to Blackheath. The decor, comfy beds, hot tub, sauna and the chickens are all such wonderful aspects of this property. Joe was so friendly and helpful too. Blaq the restaurant another plus.
The table and rug in the 2 bedroom suite are a little dated and a refresh would not go unnoticed given the beautiful decor of the rest of the room and The Kyah

Easy location, brilliant rooms with great facilities including an exceptional restaurant.
Bathroom was a little bit dated but still more than functional
Loved the outdoor hot tub!
The room was beautiful and spacious. The hot tub and sauna were so nice and so nice you can book a private session to use them.
The EV chargers didn't come with a cable and our cable was incompatible with the charger which was annoying but not the end of the world.
A loved all the different areas that if you came with a group you could spend time. Lots of varied seating, basketball / tennis / pickleball courts

Arcade games room was also a winner for my teenage son.
Our room was great, we lived the amenities, the tea room, the pantry pip up downstairs for coffee and toasties. They also gave us a late checkout to be on request.
Not that I didn’t like, but it’s a self check in. There is staff to help but the self check in was so seamless
