Das ist ein sehr schöner Ort und ein schönes Gebäude. Nicht empfehlenswert für Leute mitGehbehinderte. Uns würde ein Zimmer in einem Untergeschoss zugeordnet, obwohl das Hotel keinen Aufzug hat und der Staff wußte, einer von uns ist ein Rollstuhlfahrer. Das Problem wurde zwar gelöst, aber ärgerlich war es schon. Nachts ist die Rezeption nicht belegt und der Eingang wird zugesperrt. Man muß eine Seitentür ) öffnet mit Chip)benutzen und zusätzlich Stufen auf sich nehmen. Es ist ein schönes Haus, die Zimmer sind in einem modernen Anbau. Auf keinen Fall Gehbehinderten zu empfehlen. Sonst ist alles in Ordnung.Personal immer freundlich.

Steder byder sikkert på mange gode ting, men service'en er mangelfuld og personalet har en let arrogant tilgang.

Das Hotel ist super idyllisch gelegen, hat eine spannende Geschichte und ist wirklich etwas ganz besonderes. Ich habe super geschlafen und mit einem Blick in die Natur aufgewacht. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

Nice hotel - old furniture in the tools is classy some of the modern furniture is tired

The area is beautiful and is good if you want to get away from the city. The rooms are very nice and the breakfast was delightful.

Excellent food with fantastic service but has the name suggests take someone with you.

Excellent woodland location for a getaway with family or as a romantic trip in the Taurus region a short drive from Königstein im Taunus. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Our room was excellent and big enough to accommodate our small son too. Excellent breakfast and the restaurant is superb - children also welcome. Lots to do in and around the area with the castle ruins and the Opel Zoo as well as easy access to the motorway for trips further away. There is a stables almost next to the hotel.

This hotel is simply not the place to stay in summer. The rooms get extremely warm (especially when housekeeping makes a point to open the curtains that were shielding the room from intense daytime sun), and there is no way to cool down the rooms (e.g. A/C or fan) apart from opening the window. The front desk was extremely unhelpful with absolutely no suggestions - when asked if they had recommendations for local wineries they pointed us toward a website that listed all vineyards in the region. Plus, for several hours one evening there was simply a sign at reception saying they weren't around. Mostly, this seemed like a hotel entirely lacking in management. Perhaps in fall or winter, if the owners are around, it could be lovely...but that wasn't our experience. Finally, for those who might care, the rooms in the "modern" wing didn't have shower doors or curtains, they are open stalls.

Beautiful hotel we stayed for our one night in Frankfurt. Not very close to the city of Frankfurt but we couldn't resist the pictures. Romantic indeed. Wifi was spotty in the room but wasn't the reason we stayed there. Great place to relax and take a moment to enjoy the little things. Would have liked to stay longer than the one night. Bathroom was updated but room kept the authentic castle elegance with vintage wallpapers and curtains. Charming. Staff was accomodating even with our late arrival. Didn't book the included breakfast but ended up adding it anyway since we were quite far out from a breakfast the next morning. Would include it next time if we get the opportunity to go back.

We were looking for an classic german place close to Frankfurt, and this hotel is part of a beautiful natural park, with stables, areas for jogging, tennis court and a quiet private environment. The room was elegant, really comfortable and good space.

Lovely old building. However, rooms are in a new wing. Very comfortable beds. Shower was a pleasure. Hotel overall is beautiful.

We loved everything about this hotel!! The room was gorgeous, the staff was wonderful, breakfast was delicious, and the area around the hotel was idyllic!!
