Galina Hotel & Spa

Breakfast non existent most of the Dishes were cold, Coffee cold, plates & trays of food never topped up.
Possible the worst breakfast that I have eaten. Did speak to the person in charge but nothing done.
The room outdated & carpet marks thru out the room.
Best thing about the hotel was the service at the mud baths,

All personals are really kind and polite.

Staffs are friendly, location is excellent-3 minute walking distance to the beach. Plus, I like their mud bath.

The hotel it looks like it needs a repet or remodel. cushions on the furniture we're gone. They refilled the water bottles.They were not brand new. Made you wonder which other corners they were cutting to save money. I have stayed there before and I noticed they decline in the cleanliness of the hotel. I am sorry.I am not staying there again.I'm very disappointed. The help staff was wonderful. Very courteous and kind and went out of their way to make sure that we were happy. We felt very safe. And I enjoyed our stay, but the hotel obviously.Has taken a beat in with maintenance. I feel very sad for the owner of the hotel.That needs a better manager.

The place has taking a downhill turn in the last 2 years. Hope it turns around.
I have heard lots of places are in the same shape.

All was well, right in town center. Breakfast was excellent. Top floor pool is small and cold in November. Evaluation 8/10.

Amazing stay at Galina ,solo traveller . I was there for 3 nights . I got the suite, top floor with a balcony and an amazing sea view. Suite was very spacious with all the amenities like bathtub, living space , bed was very comfortable with a good sunrise . I also enjoyed the mud bath that was located at the basement of the hotel for a really reasonable price. Location was very convenient and walking distance to everything. The beach was just a stone throw away

This hotel is absolutely need to clean. Carpet is super dirty. The advertised pictures are unreal. Workout room is unclean and no A.C. VERY UNCLEAN. NOT PROFESSIONAL. Staff are friendly, but Expedia didn't communicate and solve the issue. I contacted Expedia after we booked to cancel one day early but they said they couldn't communicate with the hotel, when i showed up at the hotel, the staff said they couldn't contact Expedia. What's wrong?

I liked the hotel however my room was on the 11th floor just under the gym and was very noisy with constant banging from the gym equipment. I think this probably only affected the room I was in. If staying longer I would have asked to be moved. Other than that the breakfast buffet was excellent, the staff were friendly and the hotel is in a great location.

I have been living in Nha Trang for ten years and been to many places but I had never had such a terrible experience like here at Galina spa; I had a gift certificate for a massage and the first thing that surprised me was that I had to pay additional 80 thous. as a tip; the masseuse was so unprofessional, just didn’t know what she was doing; also, she asked me three times during massage if I want it to be strong, every time I said yes, but nothing changed; when I was later trying to talk to a receptionist, she just told to have a sit and I never saw her again after that. Avoid at all costs!

Staff was really helpful especially lettings is shower at spa after checkout due to fishing trip - was very helpful on arrival and departure

Everything was perfect. From the moment I step our feet in the hotel to the day Im checking out, all the staff made sure everything was perfect, staff was personable, helpful and made us feel very comfortable. And it was! Would highly recommend the place and I’m sure I will be back next time

The Hotel is 5 minutes from the beach and right in the middle of everything that you need. It is very clean, the staff is very courteous and friendly. The breakfast was great. The room that we stayed in was a suite, very large and roomy, there is a bath tub and shower. The bed is very comfortable. Our room had a city view which is what we wanted, a little less noise than the beach. We would highly recommend this hotel to our friends and anyone else looking for a convenient, clean, modern and very nice hotel.

Ive been coming to Vietnam fore over 20 years and Nha trang the bulk of my visits stayed in literally hundreds of apartments and hotels and on our last trip cam across Gallina as we were staying in apartments behind it which were terrible to say the least we headed down south for a week than reserved a room for me and my son when we return on the 19th of dec room 1005 ocean views , had 2 beds ocean view , i can honestly say the hotel staff were all great and pleasant and the manager Mr Hoang in which who we booked the room thru he was friendly and pleasant to deal with from the time we booked the room we stayed 8 nights wish it was longer and next time our whole trip will be staying here , the Best Service and hotel we have stayed in Vietnam great beds great sleep. my son even got a birthday cake for his 12 bday " the spa , sauna floor and mudbaths were also great too do thank you Galina and staff and Mr Hoang see you next time...

Having been in Vietnam 🇻🇳 over two weeks we headed to Nha Trang having had a great time in Hanoi , Da Nang and Hoi-An with lovely people , hotels & service and was expecting pretty much the same here

OMG - first impressions were the Hotel was a tad tired around the reception area with very bad lighting almost like the area of an undertakers with dark wood and our first encounter was a receptionist barking loud at us in Russian and pointing to the sofa area in reception , having explained we spoke Spanish & English she still was not a great first impression of the hotel 🏨 and still spoke Russian , at this point I realized all the staff were looking unhappy , non smiling or making any eye contact - low moral

Our room allocated was 901 and we were told on the 12th floor there was a swimming pool and breakfast 🍳 was served everyday from 7am till 10am 🕙 if required

Our room was minimalistic last updated in 1980 but once in the room we realized the Air Conditioning did not work properly, the fridge motor for drinks had burnt out so the minibar was warm , the telephone 📞 was broken and linens as in towels were so old and tired they would take the skin of your back -and furniture was stained & broken this is not a 4 Star property-did report these faults to reception and room maids but alas zero done during our stay

The TV in the room offered 9 channels in Russian , 3 in Vietnamese and a HBO movie channel dubbed - not expecting Spanish but at least one English News Channel

After unpacking we took the lift to the 12th floor and what a joke the hotel pool 🏊 offers 2 broken tired sun beds , tiles in the pool missing and it was filthy dirty and unhygienic- please understand this property for the week was not the cheapest but I don’t think any money or maintenance is being put into updating anything here

We went for breakfast the next morning this was our first day & last time as the offering was pre-cooked cold fried eggs and omelette dishes already cooked but were raw in the middle , plus a lovely selection of Borscht Soup and cold cuts of processed cheap cut meats - the photos on there advertising on the website & booking.com are so outdated it’s laughable

We tried to embrace the hotel and resort but its dirty , run down and sleazy with more massage parlors than any Asian city that I have traveled to over the years

We left after 4 nights

I used a gym there but there was a russian administrator of the hotel who was aggressiely disputed me and warned that he will restrict me one or another activity in the hotel. He didn’t tell me his name so I don’t know it. I don’t recommend you to go there if you don like any disruption during your trip.

Nice large room, with hot water in the bathroom sink.
