Pros:

Reception is big and flashy. Breakfast was in a good standard. Rooms are clean and fairly big enough. Beds are very nice and soft with 2 pillows to choose from.
The pool look nice and swim able. Too cold when we were there in January
behind the hotel, some streets away there is a busy street with many different shops. No noise from that street coming to the hotel.
We walked out to find a motorbike rental, but walked the wrong way and went back to the hotel and asked for help and 30mins after there was a guy coming to the hotel with a motorbike we rented. (200k vnd pr day)
Staff very polite and greet when we walk by.
You can also get to the rooftop and take pictures of the whole area around.
Area away from the busy street is quite empty with small beginnings of construction sites

The hotel did not have a jacuzzi like it was promissed on hotels.com, but else the hotel and staff was nice. There are not so much to do aroung of the hotel. And everywhere they are cheating the tourists, even if you buy a Coca Cola in a food shop. That was disapointing how they treat tourists in Vietnam.

Nice hotel in Halong Bay
Pros:

Disappointed with staff after enjoying great hotels and staff in HCMC, Hoi An and Da Nang.

Not good service at breakfast and no tour desk or anyone to ask about tours in the area. We cut are trip short by one night and moved to Vinpearl, dearer but out of this world.
