One night stay for onsen and sightseeing
Pros:

Small hotel, located 20 mins from the world heritage bridge stop. Generally a very good location, many things around to see. The staff is polite, we left our luggage after the checkout to go hike for almost 7 hours there (were expecting up to 5 hours) and they allowed it - very nice 🙂
The onsen (public bath) is clean, hot and with some bushes so it's not just stone walls.
Breakfast and dinner were overall great and we were full after breakfast to go for 7 hour hike to the temples and were not much hungry until dinner at 7pm 👌🏻

Cons:

Staff even though not japanese origin is not speaking English well, that was surprising 😅
The meat dish for dinner was a bit disappointing for my taste.

Over all pretty good but it was pricy

Staffs are very nice and kind.

Cons:

Breakfast was not our choice. Too little servings and kept us hungry. They should offer Buffet.

Petit hôtel tranquille et personnel agréable et de bonne volonté malgré la barrière de la langue. Un onsen agréable après une journée de découverte de Nikkō. Bien situé à proximité de l'Abysse de Kanmangafuchi qui est magnifique.

Old but comfortable, and a great onsen
Pros:

The onsen was wonderful, and the surroundings and quiet of the area.

Cons:

The room was outdated, and the fact that being a holiday meant there was no dinner and/or breakfast is absurd. Hotels are for holidays in a way, so I don't understand why this happened.
