ARMADA AVENUE HOTEL

Hotel is good. Only issue it that its far from Dubai Marina. By walking it's 20 mins from Marina while by driving its 7km.

Fantastic stay for 2 . Mini fridge, clean kettle, bedding, toilet, bath tub, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, seating area, air con very cold also has heat option. Sobha metro station 10min walk if you walk through marina which is on Carrefour exit. Sobha walkable bridge open 24 hours 7 days a week to cross over to JBR or adventure using public transport. Very safe to walk and explore all the neighbouring clusters where road crossing walkable overhead bridges are available also open 24hrs 7 days a week.

It was good in general

Not a terrible place to stay, nothing extremely bad about the hotel in general it’s spacious nice and safe etc. however, had to keep calling to ask for toilet roll and towels etc as they were not putting enough in the rooms, they also don’t change the bedding to fresh bedding everytime they clean… you have to ask for them to put fresh bedding on. The shower is not very warm or nice to shower in as the pressure is not good. The staff are friendly and welcoming, it’s about a 40 minute walk to the JBR which we did not mind as it was a nice walk and we got used to it straight away.

JLT area is the best
But this hotel is the worst ever, i will never repeat this experience

The rooms are dated but value for money. Only one towel per day. Had to ask for floor matt & hand towel.. The area is lacking in Europeon type restaurants.

Aging hotel. Skimp on towels, dirty windows

for 60 dollars a day, this was a great hotel in the heart of JLT Dubai

Area is nice walkable distance to Dubai Marina ,

The staff was kind, and we were allowed to have a late checkout - that was very kind.

When it comes to the negatives: many times the water in the shower was not even warm, it was not pleasant at all. One time we've called the reception to ask about that, but we've only been informed the hot water is not available during the night..

Moreover, despite of having 2 people in the room, the staff was leaving only 1 - each night we did have to call and ask for another one.

Also, it's either the windows are not entirely noise proof or it is impossible to properly close them, because we were hearing noises coming from the street during the night.

Great Value. Views from 35 floor to die for. Plenty of restaurants right in area. Easy walk to Metro. Even an onsite pub with cold beer:) Highly recommend.

The hotel is a joke, its maximum 2 stars hotel certainly not 4. THERE IS NO MANAGER ON DUTY!!!? at any time. I had severe allergic reaction I had to call a Dr. The security came into my room to stop Dr who was already in to examine me was stopped from helping me!!! I did not allow security Blaise or whoever he is to enter my room, and I did allow the dr but he was inside of my room!!! Why do they care who is going to visit me in the room I pay!? Its ridiculous creepy CREEPY place. I had to change the room 2x, first they put me into a noisy room after I had 15hour plane trip. When I requested change I got the room that stinks on tobacco. After I got sick and When I called a dr they harassed me and didnt let dr examine me.
They turned off the intercom in my room or it didnt work. When I requested for several times to speak with Manager on duty there was no manager. Its poorly run place and needs new management! I will never go there I was about to call my embassy and police.
Elevators take forever to get in.
After the harassment I experienced with not being able to see dr after I got sick in there probably from all the tobacco stink I left the hotel immediately. I have never been in more creepier place than this!
They didnt even refund me for leaving earlier. And I was not able to speak with any manager there. Disaster

Great location with easy onsite parking. Superb friendly staff and room cleaned every day. Great room service too when the bar was closed at no extra charge. Superb price for our room too. I’ve stayed at different hotels in Dubai but will stay again here when I return later this summer! Thanks to everyone!

Condition, environmental

The gym equipment was in terrible state of repair mostly broken and unusable. The external signage promoting the hotel in similar shoddy state. Room was pretty smelly suspect smokers allowed when non-smoking room requested. Only one single towel in bathroom made it feel like a very basic substandard experience. Check in was poor - receptionist couldn’t find my reservation (it was 3am) - eventually did! But said the double room I booked was not available. So overall not my first choice of hotel and would look else where next trip. I would rate it a 2 out of 10 experience.

Pretty much all the equipment in the gym is broken or not functioning. Room smelled of smoke even though requested a non smoking room. Only supplied a single towel even though booked for two people.

This hotel was unresponsive in trying to resolve our issue with the cold water in the suite. They kept sending a technician to turn the water on and off - each tech said there is a problem with a valve for the hot water in the room. No one moved us or provided any fruitful effort. We had to take cold showers for a week.

This has been really frustrating. My husband spoke with the property manager multiple times and front desk.

To rectify this issue, I request a partial refund for 2 nights. It was extremely unbearable and not a proper hotel accommodation.

JLT is a great place, lovely environment and views from the balcony rooms. Easy access by car with plenty of parking. It is also only a short walk into the marina. I’ve stayed in the armada towers 4 times and I would stay there again next time I’m in Dubai
