Good peaceful location for walking the coastal path.
Pros:

Lovely peaceful location with wonderful views. Spacious room and really kind & helpful staff. Excellent full English breakfast.

Cons:

Bathrooms a bit outdated. A comfortable bedroom chair other than a dining chair would have been a welcome addition. Coffee!

We had a lovey 3 days. The 3 of us could stay in the same room. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Insgesamt hatten wir eine sehr schöne Zeit
Pros:

Personal war richtig nett, man kam leicht mit ihnen ins Gespräch und konnte mehr über die Umgebung erfahren.
Lage war super. Lobby ist schön eingerichtet. Sehr in der Natur.

Cons:

Wir wären gerne eine Weile draußen gesessen, aber es gibt nichts außer harten Bänken ohne Lehne. Die Betten quietschen und man spürt die Federn. Kaffee war nicht gut und teilweise schon kalt.

Pros:

What a lovely place and very wonderful view.
Breakfast was amazing and the hospitality is overwhelming.
We were a family of four from London and the room was spacious and comfortable.
We are really happy with the service.
We do recommend this place for anyone who would like a quiet and peaceful getaway from city life.

Une étape pleine de charme
Pros:

Formidables accueil et gentillesse des hôtes !
L'hôtel, une ancienne ferme pleine de charme, est au calme : pas de bruit de moteur, juste le chant des oiseaux.
A recommander pour une belle étape sur le south West coast path ou un séjour reposant.

Pros:

Nice location and OK breakfast. Polite but scruffy staff.

Cons:

The room smelled strongly of damp which affected my breathing. The carpet was badly stained, the bathroom floor tiles appeared dirty and stained, might just have been stained, but decidedly unpleasant. The shower in my daughter's room was either too hot or dangerously scolding, she didn't tell us this until after we left or we would have asked for another room. The bath towels in our room and my daughters were stained, probably laundered but stained nonetheless, luckily we had beech towels to use. It wasn't expensive (there was little choice in the area as we booked late as the purpose of the visit was last minute) but we expected basic cleanliness and no damp mold spores to contend with. We only booked one night thankfully, we would have had to go elsewhere if it was for longer...

Pros:

Breakfast and hospitality was excellent. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. And the location is so beautiful. Our little children were so happy with the environment. So calm and nice place. Highly recommend 👌

Perfect for what we needed.
Pros:

We had a lovely spacious room with a view across the valley. The location was beautiful and easy to find. Fiona was super helpful answering all my questions before we had arrived including providing me with local taxi details so that I could plan logistics for our coastal path walks. Breakfast was plentiful and catered for all tastes.All staff super helpful and very attentive. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Cons:

The hygiene in the bathroom around shower seal and grout and in toilet basin need a little attention. Showing slight signs of wear.

Friendly staff a bit of a struggle for wheelchair
Pros:

The staff were extremely friendly and tried very hard. The hotel was difficult to find in the dark. The room was a bit tired and warm. The shower was a bit awkward for a wheelchair user. Being on a steep sloop a wheelchair user will need help to get in and out of the main house for meals. The staff did everything they could to accommodate but any wheelchair user will need assistance

Overnight near SW Coast Path
Pros:

Quite an individual slightly old fashioned hotel run by helpful and friendly mother and son (?) couple.
Offer to dry off wet walking clothes and boots.
Quiet peaceful situation.

Cons:

Some may find it a bit remote without a car.
Rather tired look to carpets.

Lovely
Pros:

We didn't spend much time at the property other than sleeping but it has everything we needed. It's a very quiet location and accommodation (not necessarily a bad thing). We had 2x rooms. One inside the main house was a bit outdated but the converted barn room was lovely! Very spacious. The staff were really nice and accommodating, great communication. Cawsand and Polperro are lovely.

Cons:

Always pre book taxis! Really hard to get taxis around the area.
