The location was good, very close to the tube station. The reception works 24 hours a day, which is a good point, and the Wi-Fi is good. The check-in staff were nice, though it was clear this was not their primary profession. Yet they were decent and had good manners.
It is a terrible room interior design: golden curtains, a lion painting on the wall, and an old, dilapidated carpet, stained and old. Furniture does not go with one another. It was so untasteful that it made me feel sick. Also, so many things in the room. The room is very small as well. It is a bit smelly when you enter the hotel due to cooking, I assume. I also found it strange that I was not given a wifi code upon check-in, but had to ask for it. At least WiFi worked well. London, in general, has terrible value for money when it comes to hotels. Not really sure they have any guidelines on what constitutes decent accommodation. Some refurbishment of the rooms and some help from a good interior desiger might be needed.
Location-wise it's about 30 minutes from downtown London with the piccadilly line (subway) and you also have an option of buses (also night buses) passing through a nearby stop. Finsbury park is also nearby. Nice breakfast places nearby and a big supermarket too.
Staff was hospitable and very helpful
The room was clean.
The room was small. Smaller than the idea you get from the pictures. Which is okay given that I am not looking for anything more, but the disappointing thing was the even smaller bathroom, which was maximum two square meters. Physically i was not able to dry myself in the bathroom, i had to step out in the bedroom. That being said, i did not bring this to the attention of the staff and maybe possibly there could be a change of room.. other than that no other problem.

Small hotel, relatively clean, convenient location for Finsbury Park area
I would prefer a 24-hour reception rather than notices about how to contact the reception staff.
I would prefer the double room I booked rather than a studio(?) with a kitchen in the room
Ligging kamer aan achterzijde van gebouw (voorzijde redelijk drukke weg); aanwezigheid gevarieerde apparatuur (koelkast, vrieskastje, broodrooster, oven, magnetron).
krappe ruimtes (o.a. badkamer) en gangen.
Totul
Een fijne kamer, met keuken en bad. Perfecte locatie.

We stayed in Room 20 and it was an outstanding experience. The room was:
Spacious & Bright: Very comfortable with plenty of natural light, creating a great atmosphere.
Fully Equipped: Having our own kitchen was a huge plus and very convenient.
Clean & Quiet: Perfectly clean and very peaceful, ideal for a relaxing getaway.
The service at the reception was excellent—very helpful and welcoming. We will definitely be back. See you next time!

What I liked most about the property was its location.
First of all, I was given a completely different room than the one I had selected on Booking. The photos shown on Booking featured a nice, well-presented room. The room we received, however, was very poor and not necessarily clean either.
The only positives about the property were its good location and the receptionist, who was really kind and helpful.
As for the room itself, I have very serious reservations. The price is significantly too high for the quality offered.
Low cheap price given its London
I stayed at this hotel during my trip to London and had a pleasant experience. The hotel itself was nice and comfortable, with clean rooms and a good atmosphere. It’s a bit far from the city center, but the location is very convenient thanks to the nearby metro station, which makes it easy to get around.
The only issue we had was on the last day: after checking out, we wanted to leave our luggage, but we were charged £7 per bag. This was a bit disappointing, as luggage storage is usually free in most hotels. Overall, still a good option if you don’t mind being slightly outside the center.
