Pros:

Son emplacement même si je me suis trompée du côté de la gare où il se trouvait.
Donc pas près du Dom ... même s'il s'appelle Apartel am Dom.
Arrivée à 00h30
Je l'ai réservé en urgence pour une très courte nuit de 4h30 dûe à des soucis de trains dans la journée du 1er juillet et je devais être à Bruxelles pour 11h absolument.

Cons:

Peut-être le tapis plain, ce n'est plus vraiment dans nos habitudes actuellement mais très confortable

Natürlich habe ich den Mangel am morgen preisgegeben, man spielte es runter. So freuen sich weitere Gäste. Das finde ich
Pros:

Ich hatte dieses Hotel gewählt weil es mit Klimaanlage und Frühstück beworben wurde.

Cons:

Die Klimaanlage war bei Ankunft aus, der Raum hatte nahezu 40 grad, wärmer als draußen. Das Zimmer welches sehr komfortabel groß war war Südseitig ausgerichtet. Die Klimaanlage war tatsächlich nur ein altes mobiles Gerät mit Abluftschlauch nach draußen.
Wohl nicht gewartet, jedenfalls hat es nicht gekühlt sondern geheizt. So hatte ich nach Ankunft in der Nacht über 50 grad im Zimmer.
Die Rezeption war nicht besetzt.

Een prima hotel om Keulen te bezoeken
Pros:

De kamer was heel schoon, de medewerkers ontzettend aardig en behulpzaam. De kamer was erg ruim en het bed sliep heerlijk! Hoewel het hotel vlakbij de spoorbaan en een drukke weg staat, is daar nauwelijks iets van te horen.

Cons:

Vooral gedateerd was de vloerbedekking op de grond, de bank in de kamer was oud en zat niet comfortabel, de douche in het bad vonden wij gevaarlijk en het doortrekken van het toilet ging erg moeizaam.

Für ein Städtetrip, wo man nur ein Bett braucht. Zum übernachten ist das perfekt. Es liegt auch sehr zentral.
Pros:

Das Personal war sehr nett wir sind schon morgens früh angekommen und durften schon dann direkt auch einchecken.

Cons:

Die Ausstattung ist ziemlich rustikal und ich schon Alter gekommen. Badezimmer war ein bisschen eng.

Warm hospitality, But cooling system needs fxing
Pros:

The staff were exceptionally warm, and friendly throughout our stay. The location is also outstanding — just a short walk from Cologne Central Station, making it convenient for sightseeing, business travel, or getting around the city via public transport.

Cons:

The room was not equipped with a proper air conditioning system. Instead, only a portable AC unit was provided as an alternative, which was already a concern given the summer hot.
To make matters worse, the exhaust hose was broken and unable to vent hot air to the outside as intended.
After closer inspection that we found the real problem: while the portable AC blew cool air from the front, the broken exhaust caused the hot air generated at the back to flow directly back into the room, completely cancelling out any cooling effect. The result was essentially no cooling at all. Being unable to enjoy a basic level of comfort during a summer stay significantly impacted our overall experience and sleep quality. We strongly recommend the management address this issue promptly by repairing or replacing the equipment.
