A very pleasant stay, in very pleasant and historical surroundings.
Pros:

We attended a wedding at the hotel at this time which was great. The facilities, rooms and dining areas were very suitable for such an occasion. The staff were welcoming and pleasant.

Relaxing 3 night stay
Pros:

Hotel situated on the water front of central Suva. Very accessible to walk around the city. Hotel has that old colonial charm & lives upto its expectation. Our room was overlooking the waterfront & was comfortable with a balcony. The room was very comfortable with a lovely relaxing comfortable king size bed. The linen and towels were great. Food excellent as was the staff service. A lovely pool & bar added to the hotels enjoyment.

Cons:

Room service very slow, easier to go down stairs yourself!

Comfort and tradition in Suva.
Pros:

The meals were excellent. It was delightful to sit outside on the verandah with a view of the ocean while enjoying dishes from the extensive menu. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable and the view from the balcony was interesting. The proximity to the Museum and Thurston Garden was very convenient.

A perfect place to stay and see Suva
Pros:

Lovely old colonial character (fully updated for modern comforts), quiet, clean, restful, delightful staff, very comfortable room, brilliant breakfast, good wifi, lovely common areas, walkable to everywhere AND they allowed me to pay by cash/bank transfer. A marvelous rest with views over the water. No mozzies. Bottled water supplied. 24 hour kitchen. For a very reasonable price.

Gracious, historic beauty of a hotel with all the modern conveniences
Pros:

GPH has been a home away from home for me while working in Suva. Absolutely nothing not to love about coming back to this gracious, historic beauty located close to town, warm, friendly and responsive staff who go the extra mile, great food and beverage options, and a peaceful harborside environment with the best pool in Suva.
