A little gem tucked in the Pyrénées mountain. Location was perfect as very close to France so a lot more to see without traveling too far.
Fabulous food, beautiful rooms with super comfortable beds and service was of very high standard. Made our stay so memorable.
The property has beautiful lawns where you can take a walk, and a small pool to swim if weather permits. The hotel was very accommodating with food as we had a vegetarian in our group and they went out of their way to make things off menu. The restaurant even though small had spectacular views of the mountains, a lovely way to eat your breakfast or meals.
We will definitely be coming back. A special Thank you to Caterina for making our stay so perfect.

Good food in the dining room but refused to pay for a snack in the bar/lounge. Elegant public rooms but no comfortable seating in the public areas.
Parking was remote from our room. Transferring luggage was awkward. Bathroom was cramped. Bedroom furnishings were limited and uncomfortable. No hot water on our second night. Our room was in an annexe which was remote from the main building so had to change shoes and put on a coat and take an umbrella to go to dinner. Our key stopped working so had to walk back to reception after dinner in the rain. The dining room had only three tables with a view onto the outside and garden. It was an elegant building from the outside but public and bed rooms were not comfortable
Breakfast was ok. They attempted to provide choices, but some food did not look fresh. There were very few guests.
We ordered two expensive cocktails at the bar. The staff had clearly never made cocktails before. We heard them looking up recipes. In the end, the cocktails - which were on the menu - took almost 20 minutes to make and were terrible and not made correctly. This would be no problem at a regular bar/hotel, but it certainly is a problem at a hotel striving to be 4-5 stars.
We could not even stand straight in the room. While the bed was comfortable, we had to duck to walk to the door and bathroom. Since the hotel was empty, it seemed odd they gave us the room with limited ceiling space. Only two guests (a couple) braved also having dinner at the hotel, which made for a dull environment. The space is beautiful, but the execution poor. We poured our own wine and water twice. The meal itself was satisfactory but things like the bread were terrible. I ordered the chicken with asparagus; the chicken was dry and it came with two tiny asparagus. The bread appeared to be cheap grocery store rolls. This was unexpected at such a nice hotel.
