Very good staff and good location. Clean and quiet.

Hotel was what we expected of 3 stars. The room size was ok, the mattress a bit hard and the heater is like not functioning as intended. Hot water needs to let the water run for 10 mins before it got heated.

The receptionist was friendly and helpful and helped to prepare our breakfast for takeaway as we have to check out before 6am (bf starts at 630am).

There are restaurant and street food surrounding the hotel. Overall the hotel is value for what we paid for.

Good location for restaurants and a 15 minute walk to the ferry for Cat Ba island. Requires a very inexpensive taxi from bus station.
Room had a fridge and TV, a very large bathroom. No dual voltage point/socket.
Apparently, many Asians believe that a firm bed is good for the posture. Be advised that this belief is religiously respected at this hotel. Imagine a bed sheet on concrete and you will come close to appreciating the mattress. Excellent hotel but mind the mattress.

Pleasant stay. Staff accommodate to our request. It would be better if staff can converse in English

If you absolutely had to be in Hai Phong which has nothing to offer I guess the location was as good as many others . The hotel its self may once long ago have been ok . Now it has had little maintenance , lights , toilet flush broken .NO HOT WATER , EVER . Mattress like concrete . The amenities claimed such as restaurant ., spa sauna , various English language news tv programs , no longer exist .No staff , bar Ms Huong , who is fabulous & does her best in difficult circumstances , spreak any English at all . Hotel policy is to keep a day of rent even though we left because of poor facilities. The hotel is vastly overpriced for the standards they keep . KEEP LOOKING .

This property is like a museum - it has it all the collection of Bonsia plants , statues , aquarium, bonds not to mention a collection of animals in the basement ( dog , birds, and some really out of this world collection of everything this Hotel owner could get his hands on) almost forgot to mention the paintings and historical items dating back to 500 BC.

The room was the worse I have stayed in a long time, but the other attractions made it a great experience - didn't have to go far to enjoy so much

베트남 로컬 호텔 다운 곳입니다. 17층까지 있는 높은 빌딩이서 전망은 좀 괜찮습니다.
건물이 오래되어서, 내부는 좀 그렇습니다. 출장으로 하루 잠시 머물어서.. 참을만 했습니다.

The hotel is simple, clean and good value. Beds are pretty firm; and breakfast is Vietnamese and Chinese food plus cooked eggs, bacon and bread/toast.

Easy walking to shops and markets. Hotel has seen better days. You couldn't accuse the staff of being exuberent.

Accommodation was fine though service at reception desk was less welcoming (probably limited by lack of English).

The hotel was ok. It was about a 10 min walk to the port, which was its main draw. Staff english was so-so, and so wasnt very helpful in getting more info about the ferry. Breakfast was advertised at 6am, but when we got there at 6:30, they were clearly not ready for us. Room was clean and comfy, but the bathroom was very dimly lit, which was weird.
