Breakfast was perfect
Location great. Well kept.
Rooms were smaller than I expected. Parking is kinda off site so a little inconvenient to take luggage then park the car then walk back etc.
Marysville is a beautiful little, quiet town this time of year.
The breakfast was good with enough variety and the chef making eggs to order.

Reception woman on 10 Oct was quite smug & when we said car park was a long way from reception she replied ‘it really isn’t & I think you’ll find it’s quite close when you go back to get your bags.’ For the price of the room the supplies were miserly - reception woman said we could get takeaway for dinner but no plates, bowls, cutlery in the room 😳

Menu was not as on website. No vegetarian option apart from a Thai dish not suitable. Mashed potato plus beans not enough.
2 bread brought to table which wasn’t ordered and charged $14 each.
It was a special occasion but decidedly bad choice with such a plain boring menu.
Clean
Booking process. Booked dinner for a certain time and number of guests months ago - rang to add an 8th guest (luckily) as the time was not suitable for the restaurant (they had many weeks to let me know) and had the wrong number of guests. When we checked in they hadn’t changed then number of guests. I don’t feel they cared about our very special family occasion which was disappointing as we booked 5 rooms and a restaurant booking.
The dinner was a huge disappointment. The star guest, my mother’s 90th birthday, only eats fish and the menu was all meat aside from one fish option to be shared by two. She then chose chicken and only had beans and mash. Mum checked the online menu the day before and there were 2 fish options but they were taken off the menu the next day.
Plus - we were given 2 serves of focaccia (no one offered this) and we were charged $28 for it.
The service was very ordinary for such a special occasion.
All up it was disappointing considering it was such a special occasion and expense for the family.
If we come back we will stay with you again . Beds were great. Maybe a more cosy intimate bar area .

The heater didn't work, the room wasn't stocked properly, it was so cold and the walls and bathroom were dirty plus the room was so small for $400 a night... the restaurant was also very expensive and they had full staff but the service was terrible ....
