Place seemed to be clean and renovated.
People must live in the rooms when not rented. Seemed like a lot of homeless people hanging around in the parking lot and pavilion area. Small area for breakfast, ice machine didn't work , hallways were dirty. Always seem like new check in's needed to wait for room to be clean. Not sure who was in charge when having a question the maid or someone walking around that seemed to be homeless.
Location in cleanliness of the property was good
Staff was not helpful. Owner and manager was not helpful. Sold out my room that was was held with a credit card, and I said I was going to arrive late but I arrived earlier than what I had said and they had already sold my room told me too bad
The breakfast was better than other places. The coffee was very good.

My son seen 3 bedbugs in his bed and I caught one.
This building is in need of major repairs. When I walk into the lobby I was be greeted by a rank musty smell with a mild cigarette under note along with a completely empty front desk. I had to call on a grungy old telephone to get a random lady dressed in casual clothing to come down from her apartment to check me in. (Yes she lives there). When I go upstairs the smell intensifies, I notice all doors have a sketchy retrofit lock system with the lock cylinders punched out. As I enter my room I notice that the safety latch lock on the back of my door is completely broken, as if someone on a cocaine fueled crash out has violently busted down the door before. The mini fridge is rusting, there are plywood patches covering holes in the walls, crumbling corners, dirty stained bathtub, water damaged furniture falling apart as the bottom rots, dirty stained chair that I can only assume has been used for foul acts. I decide to go out and watch a movie with my family so we don't have to hang out in this place for longer than we have to (I'm 190$ into this hotel stay because of a DAMAGE DEPOSIT.... in a place like this? Really???) I come back around 8:30 to get my 3 and 5 year old to bed and am greeted by a smell of marijuana so thick and pungent that there is nearly a haze in the air. That was the last straw for me I grabbed our bags that hadn't even been unpacked yet and called down the resident desk lady on the old phone. I told her we would be leaving and staying somewhere else due to the conditions and smell of the building and that I wanted my money to be refunded. We left and found a new hotel for the night. I still have not received my damage deposit back which I'm assuming is just gone, I would not be surprised if they just pocket my money judging by the shady nature of the place. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody unless you need a good place to do your drugs.
The whole place was nice. Ive stayed here before so I knew what to expect. Clean room, minimal noise, basic morning breakfast.
The shower head was like little needles, but that's about all. Everything else was just fine.

They were to have a bottom floor room for me but did not and had to climb stairs as no elevator. 12 stairs for a handicap is not right and you specifically said they honored my request
no elevator and was promised a bottom floor room to no avail.
