Nice but wait until construction across street is finished before booking

Pros:

The price was good for a historical hotel. The pool was clean even though it had just rained the day before. The A/C worked well.

Cons:

The room did not have a mini-fridge. The smart TV did not have a working USB connection (we wanted to watch something that was available on a phone)

I expected a 5 star rating, but found it lacking in some areas
Pros:

The cleanliness . The restaurant was nice and the breakfast was tasty.

Cons:

I booked a queen size bed . Beds are not queen size as advertised.
Rooms could have mini refrigerators for convenience.
Pool could have been cleaner. Not enough umbrellas. Cushions were soiled and over all needs attention. Drinks and food not allowed, but bar options were not available

Pros:

The hotel is still nice but not the luxury stay they advertised. It’s obvious that maintenance is being delayed. We had loose fixtures in the bathroom and a toilet that leaked. The pool is old but lovely unfortunately you can see that the cushions on the lounges aren’t cared for. Rain pools on them and no one comes to wipe them off resulting in a little mildew starting to appear. The hotel restaurant is only open Thursday to Sunday though you can get tasty food at the bar.
