Hotel Santa Ana

Little gem in the middle of Merida. Great friendly staff, very helpful. Shout out to the reception staff.You can ask about everything. Close to Santa Ana eateries. 15 min walk to Plaza grande and 15 min to Walmart.

This was our fifth time staying at the Hotel Santa Ana. It is a truly charming hotel. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing. It has a lovely courtyard with a small pool. However, it is not a luxury hotel. The furnishings are simple. The WiFi can be spotty. There is no elevator. Still, it is one of my absolute favorites. I look forward to returning soon.

There was no milk for coffee...only powder creamer.

The entire environment was aesthetically pleasing, The people working in the hotel were welcoming and helpful. The rooms and lobby were spotless and we loved the courtyard greenery!

We live in Merida. We needed a conveniently located hotel with parking for New Year's Eve. We had dinners and parties located within a 6 block radius of the hotel. Our experience couldn't have been better: a friendly welcome, convenient parking, a clean, comfortable room and a very reasonable price. This is a great place to base yourself if you intend to explore Merida or the Yucatan.

Wonderful experience! Room was clean and comfortable. Pool and common areas were nice and relaxing. Best of all was the staff who made us feel so welcomed and were very helpful with all our questions. Will definitely choose to stay here again if my travels take me back to Merida!

Charming modest hotel right off of a small pretty square. Older style hotel rooms around a pretty, clean pool surrounded by native plantings. Friendly helpful staff. Convenient parking in a safe lot. We'd stay here again.

This is a pleasant simple hotel. No frills but. The Santa Ana has a friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating staff. A convenient breakfast.

Santa Ana hotel was everything we hoped for, authentic, excellent service from welcoming staff, lovely pool and sitting area. Comfortable beds, good linens, and shower.

The staff--every one of them we interacted with--were friendly and helpful. The common area is large and has different spaces to use for reading, enjoying the pool or sitting and using the computer. Quiet at night and conveniently located near Paseo Montejo for walking.
Really enjoyed our time there.

Charming small hotel. Great staff. Great location. Inexpensive. Rooms are basic no-frills, but comfortable. This was my fourth stay at the Hotel Santa Ana. It is my "go to" place in Merida. Sometimes it has been booked and I have had to stay elsewhere. I think it is great, however if you like something fancy, plush and modern this may not be the place for you

What a nice little gem located in downtown Merida! Very comfortable and the staff especially Juan were outstanding. I'll stay again if ever in Merida

This is a great place for the price. The courtyard is topical and cozy. Hotel Santa Ana is in a historical district.

Lovely courtyard, great staff

The hotel's location - between centro and Calle Montejo is perfect for walking and exploring. The staff are knowledgeable and share recommendations and directions. Wi-Fi is available and stable. The rooms are clean and basic but the towels are like sandpaper.

Restaurants are within walking distance but not in the immediate area. The onsite restaurant offers breakfast only with a limited menu.

The onsite pool was only 1/2 filled and dirty. Plants surrounding the pool give a relaxing "jungle" feel to the courtyard.

A one hour bus ride and you can be in Progreso at the beach. A 10 block walk puts you at the Zocolo or the Monumento a la Patria. The entire surrounding area is very walkable and safe.

Unfortunately, some guests were very noisy (talking loudly outside on the balconies) well into the night, making sleep difficult if you leave your windows open.

Court yard was beautiful. The room was very clean.
