Lovely stay in a historic location.
Pros:

Warm welcome and we were shown to our large, comfortable room. Easy parking and access. Self serve breakfast was very good and convenient as we needed to be on the road quickly. Lovely historic house and garden with an amazing story.

Comfortable, clean & historically interesting.
Pros:

It’s was comfortable, interesting, clean, spacious & near everything. Breakfast was nice.

Cons:

We had problems with the TV the second night. The signal kept dropping out. Only saw one staff member, in passing & Never saw any other staff our entire stay.

Homely historic stay
Pros:

Check in was super easy - we checked in after hours and called the property a few days beforehand to let them know, and was sent very detailed instructions to self check in. The property itself was so interesting with a history walk throughout the house and grounds available. The gardens are absolutely beautiful, the house has been so well maintained and my fiance and I loved learning about the history of the property and the area. The location is very close to everything, only a 10 minute drive from the centre of Bowral. I would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful weekend getaway with the charm and comfort
Pros:

The accommodation is clean,spacious and comfortable. Beautiful buildings. We would have walked around the property if the weather was good but wet.
Convenient location to drive a few minutes to the central town centre of Mittagong.

Cons:

Our neighbours staying next door were so noisy even after midnight so I could not sleep until 2am.
We did not have any information about breakfast neither in the information book or with communication prior besides how to check in.

All good, .. there is an opportunity for the bathroom to be upgraded in the King Suite where we were guests located in the main residence .

We really enjoyed the history of the building. There is a "dungeon" below the main level. It is worth taking a wander on the self guided history tour. Breakfast was delicious. Picturesque gardens.

Cons:

We weren't notified that our room was self check in. We waited around at reception for someone until I ended up calling the after hours number.
The bathroom needed some TLC and the mattress was a bit firm.
