A beautiful, historical and charming hotel, full of the flavour of Zanzibar. Very well located in Stone Town - the best position for everything and right on the beach. A lovely restaurant where we had amazing Swahili fish curry. Very good breakfasts. Lots of lounge areas and a ping pong table.

Cons:

It's a very busy hotel, full of people checking in and out constantly. No lift, so not for everyone, although the staff carried our suitcases up to our room. It's also a dry hotel - so no cocktails at the pool, if that's what you want, but plenty of restaurants around the hotel that do serve alcohol. Also, no swimming after 7pm which may be a bit strict as there are three gorgeous pools.

Personale cordiale e sorridente.
Cibo molto buono sia a colazione che a pranzo, con prezzi competitivi rispetto alla qualità.
Suite deluxe bellissima con affaccio direttamente sul mare, un letto king size inserito in un baldacchino in stile tipico di Zanzibar e un box doccia eccezionale.
Piscine sul tetto superlative.

Die Lage mitten in Stone-Town ist perfekt (wir waren mir einem Leihwagen unterwegs)- sowohl für Sightseeing, als auch den Night-Market und die Bootsfahrt auf die Prison-Island. Beim Frühstück große Auswahl, sitzen direkt am Strand.

Cons:

Vom Spielzimmer geht leider viel Lärm aus.
