Nice hotel with amenities right in Stone Town
Pros:

Location was perfect - right next to the Hyatt. Next to the start of the souks or streets. Breakfast buffet was robust. We stayed in a family "apartment" across the street from the main hotel. AC worked well. Occasional power outages in the city but otherwise comfortable room.

Pros:

L’hôtel est très beau même plus beau que sur les photos, au bord de l’eau avec accès direct sur la plage. Il y a deux piscines sur terrasse en hauteur superbes. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très propres. Le restaurant est bon pour un rapport qualité prix parfait. Le décor de cet hôtel est magnifique avec des spectacles sur la plage tous les soirs. À centre ville et à 15/20 min de l’aéroport juste parfait. Le personnel est parfait et aux petits soins.

Cons:

La télé ne fonctionnait pas mais vraiment pas dérangeant sachant qu’il y avait la télé en plein milieu de l’hôtel (spécial coupe du monde)

ザンジバルらしいホテル
Pros:

老舗のホテルで、過去に利用した事があり、今回も３泊利用しました。フロントの方々は皆さんフレンドリーで、お部屋はザンジバル風で趣があり良かったです。朝食も変化があり、全て美味しかったです。シャワーはお湯がしっかりと出ました。ストーンタウンにあるため、どこに行くにも便利。ビーチに直結。

Cons:

ザンジバル風のベッドは高くて、上がるのが大変でした。足台があれば良かったです。部屋が通りと駐車場に面しており、毎晩夜中1時過ぎまで、アスカリや酔っ払いの声が煩くて良く眠れませんでした。
午後半日外出していた事がありましたが、掃除に入った時に窓を開けた様で、その後、夕方に殺虫剤のスプレーに来た方が、窓は閉めずカーテンだけを閉めて行きました。窓が開いていることに気づかず、使用しているベッドの蚊帳は閉められておらず、夜中に蚊に悩まされる事になりました。スプレーする時には窓を閉めて欲しかったです。

Breathtaking views, friendly staff, great location and cleanliness.
Pros:

The location and layout of the property is perfect, with beachfront views and excellent and clean facilities. The staff at Tambo house are great, always friendly and ready to assist with anything Ishak, the restaurant assistant manager, in particular showed me and my family excellent service and kindness. Always willing to go the extra mile to accommodate our requests and provide guidance throughout our stay.

Good location - lack of support
Pros:

A great location with beautiful views. We stayed in the jr suite and it was beautiful. The pools were a great way to cool down and the restaurant was handy to have.

Cons:

We were very disappointed when our air conditioning unit started the drip water (quite a lot) we called for maintenance as it is very hot here and we required the use of the A/C. At first a staff member came up to wipe the water away, unfortunately that was all they did - they wouldn’t offer any further help. We didn’t feel safe leaving it on after that - an uncomfortable night - it was so hot and the A/C continued to drip (even once turned off) through the night.

Ça tient la route
Pros:

La vue est sublime (depuis notre chambre vue sur mer). Le petit déjeuner est très bon et copieux dans un cadre magnifique. L’hôtel possède du charme.

Cons:

Propreté qui laisse à désirer, nous avons rencontré quelques bêtes peu ragoûtantes dans la chambre.
Certaines personnes du personnel peu souriantes et insistantes pour vendre des excursions.
