Guter Start in einen Sansibar-Urlaub. Organisation von Touren und Ausflügen von hier prima möglich.
Pros:

Saubere Zimmer, gutes und abwechslungsreiches Frühstück. Freundliches Personal. Das altehrwürdige Tembo Hotel hat seinen Charme beibehalten. Schöne Strandlage.

Cons:

Geschwindigkeit und Qualität des Service entspricht afrikanischen Verhältnissen. Wenn man darauf eingestellt ist, kann man damit natürlich umgehen., Bei einer der Top-Adressen Stone Towns könnte man aber etwas mehr erwarten. Die Familienzimmer liegen leider nicht im charmanten Hauptgebäude, sondern auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite der Straße.

Pros:

Hotel sympa. Nous y séjournons lors de chaque voyage a zanzibar. Le restaurant est de bonne qualité, les chambres sont propres, le personnel est très gentil et l'ambiance est très sympa

Cons:

La taxe de séjour qui est largement supérieure a celle pratiquée dans les autres hôtels de l'ile (5 dollars par perdonne et par nuit...)

Excellent Stay
Pros:

The location is beachfront and centre of Stone Town. Very big room in the Annex, bright with windows to open, balcony and aircon when needed. Very quick and friendly check in.
All staff go out of the way to help

L’emplacement est idéal. Belle piscine et accessoires rapide aux excursions

Cons:

Les chambres “Freddy Mercury” ne sont pas en bord de plage et dans building central mais dans une ruelle arrière dans la ville. La carte de la restauration et des cocktails n’était pas engageante.

An impressively authentic experience. Three pools make the exhausting task of relaxing considerably easier. The staff smiles, the reception guys are suspiciously handsome, the food is a small culinary adventure, and the chef—an extremely nice and equally handsome gentleman—deserves special thanks for the four mangoes.

Wonderful stay - but check which building you are in...
Pros:

Wonderful old hotel with a lovely pool and perfect position in the heart of Stonetown and right on the beach. Delightful staff and great breakfast with tons of options.

Cons:

We were put in the extension across the road rather than the main hotel building which was disappointing since this was not clear from the room listing. This meant that the room, while nice, was a bit less historic and characterful than we were expecting.
