Staff was amazing and extremely helpful. Paid attention to all the little details and made our stay extra special. Rooms were spacious and bed very comfortable. Great ocean view and excellent location right on the beach. Wish we stayed one more day just to enjoy the property.
It’s nice next to the ocean. That is the only positive point
Do not go there. It is not a 4star hotel. Premises are shabby. Looks like there has been a flodding of the room with black marks everywhere. Wood in the hut was rotten and there were cracks everywhere in walls ceilings and floors. Our toilet was leaking, the electricity went out 4 times our first night and there was a giant scorpion in our room. We did not to want to stay here with our 6 year old girl and they said they would refund 3 nights out of 4. They did not. We payed a 1000 US dollars for this. Do not go there. (We travelled a lot and this is the biggest hotel scam we met)
The location, the cottages, the pool, the restaurant and the friendliness of the staff
The beds were awesome!, the cottage I got was great for our family
Sehr nettes Personal. Tolle Lage.
We loved the staff
Everything. This place was beautiful. Staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was magnificent, and location was perfect. I’d found this place by accident, as I’d booked elsewhere and the place was not up to standards. They were so accommodating to take us in, we ditched the other place completely, and never looked back.
Look forward to staying here again now that we’ve caught the Tulum vibe.
A cute little racoon stole my last cookie haha
Time has slipped by since our holiday in Tulum. I intended doing a review of Zamas Hotel long before now, but better late than never.
I was with two friends and we stayed for three weeks in one of the apartments across the road from the hotel which was perfect. We had 2 beds in the living space and a gorgeous en suite bedroom upstairs which had a very spacious balcony with a sea view. There were also two balconies off the living space. The kitchen was very well equipped although we only used it for breakfast. There were excellent supermarkets a short taxi spin away, so if one wanted, you could make much more use of the kitchen.
We loved the little beach beside the hotel and although the sargassum started to come in towards the end of our trip, we were always able to swim for most part.
We had dinner several times in the restaurant and generally had lunch there most days. It never disappointed.
What stood out for us were the staff. They were all very friendly and efficient. Daniel and Fernando went above and beyond in helping us book trips, buses back to the airport as we all left at different times and made lots of suggestions of where to go and what to do during our stay.
It was our first time in Tulum and staying in Zamas really helped make our stay very memorable.
