Pros:

I had a mixed experience at City Tower. On the positive side, the hotel is generally clean and comfortable, and the location is excellent, making it very convenient for our stay in Kuwait. A highlight of our stay was the shift manager, who was very professional and kind, even offering us a late check-out, which we greatly appreciated.
​However, we encountered a frustrating issue regarding our room. We specifically requested a non-smoking floor, but upon arrival, we were put on a floor that smelled very strongly of smoke. When I brought this to the attention of the floor supervisor, they insisted it was just "Bakhoor" (incense). This response felt quite dismissive and patronizing, as the difference between cigarette smoke and incense is obvious.
​To their credit, when we escalated this to the reception staff, they were very helpful and quickly resolved the issue by moving us to a different room on a cleaner floor.
​Overall, the hotel is well-located and clean, and the reception and management are clearly capable of providing great service. However, staff training—specifically for floor supervision—needs to be improved to ensure guests are treated with respect when raising legitimate concerns.

طلبوا مني مبلغ إضافي لطفلي عمره 8 سنوات علما بأني دفعت المبلغ المحدد في بوكينج قبل يومين من تاريخ الحجز والذي ذكرت فيه الطفل وعمره وكان المدير المصري فظ وغليظ وسليط اللسان لايجيد من أدب الحوار شيء ولايعرف التعامل مع العملاء كان موظفي الاستقبال يتكلمون باللغة الإنجليزية وتوقعت إنه عربي فقلت له تعرف تتكلم عربي قالي لا ما أعرفش أتكلم عربي قلت له غريب ترد كذا وانت موظف خدمة عملاء كان هذا أول محادثة بيني وبينه ثم حصل تلاسن ورفض يوفر سرير للطفل وقالي لو تقعد مني لبكره مش حنطلع لك سرير للطفل مع العلم إني طلعت له مكتوب في حجزي عنده إقامة الطفل مجانا دون دفع أي تكاليف.
المهم رفض واضطريت اتصل على الشرطة الذين حظروا وأقنعوه بتوفير سرير بعد أن أطلعتهم على المكتوب في حجزي شخصين بالغين وطفل عمره 8 سنوات .
أرجو من الإدارة العليا للفندق اختيار الأشخاص المناسبين للعمل وإلا راح يفقدوا العملاء .
