Je suis dans un Hôtel en Belgique , et malheureusement vraiment personne ne sais me répondre en français et en plus je trouvais tres agressif la façon dont ont me demandait de parler en anglais , quand même une honte pour un Hôtel qui ce veut être un Standing 4 étoiles ??

Excellent séjour !
Pros:

On est à proximité de tout et tout est facilement accessible à pieds, vélo ou voiture. La chambre était d’une propreté remarquable et très spacieuse !

Cons:

C’est rare pour que je le souligne mais je n’ai absolument rien à redire sur mon séjour. Tout était parfait.

Een fijne, comfortabele kamer. Ze kwamen tegemoet aan mijn verzoek en zorgden voor een kamer met een groot bed. Het was een leuk gebaar dat er een klein verjaardagscadeau op de kamer klaarstond, maar het feit dat dit al een dag te vroeg was neergezet, wijst erop dat het personeel weinig oog heeft voor detail.

Cons:

Vorig jaar was de service veel beter. Het was een aangename verrassing toen het restaurant mijn tafel voor mijn verjaardag versierde en bij het dessert een brandend kaarsje bracht. Dat is gebruikelijk in goede restaurants – zonder extra kosten, al wordt een goede fooi wel verwacht. Dit keer was de afstemming tussen de receptie en het restaurant echter misgelopen en wenste niemand me een fijne verjaardag.

Staying here felt like being relegated to a basement.
Pros:

Historic building with a lot of panache. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Unfortunately, we were assigned a room on the "ground floor," which felt more like a semi-basement. The view from the window was of the bumper of a car parked directly outside. Whenever a car arrived or left, its headlights shone straight into the room, even in the middle of the night. Overall, it felt more like staying in a basement than in a hotel room.

Breakfast offered the usual selection but was of only mediocre quality. The glasses and cutlery looked noticeably worn, which added to the impression that attention to detail was lacking.

Overall, the price is too high for what the hotel actually delivers. It charges for the experience it aspires to offer, rather than the one it currently provides.
