Best Western Duchesne Inn

I am writing this review as I lie in this hotel room at 4am unable to sleep from the ceaseless noise, I have never had a worse hotel experience. I would have gotten more sleep in my car in the parking lot. We are in the dead center of the 3 floor hotel right over the front doors and directly across from the elevator. It is unethical to rent this room to a paying customer. . Do not stay here if you want to sleep.

Clean, good amenities

The location was a matter of convenience at best. They evidently had a large gathering that evening because the noise level was extremely loud all night to say the least. The television did not work properly at best for the entire stay, we had to share the room with an uncomfortable amount of moths and spiders, the desk chair had what looked like dried up upchuck all over it, there was about a years worth layer of dust over the entire room, the air conditioner thermostat did not work, we had to push the reset button on the plug itself in order to make it work and even then it only blew out a strong vinegar smelling outside temp air. There was no breakfast left that morning minus the water downed juices and a couple of old apples and cheap prepackaged "pastries". When we asked if there was anymore, we were told that they didn't want to waste opening up more food when there was just an hour left before the cutoff time and referred to the burger king across the street.

I am a Diamond member with Best Western. My family loves Best Westerns. We usually stay over 2 nights everytime. During the end of our stays we clean the rooms ourselves & take out majority of our trash out. In Duchesne I bought my own cleaning supplies at a local store (Family Dollar). I cleaned the whole room like I always do & took out the majority of trash. I wiped every surface in the room, door knobs, drawer handles, microwave, refrigerator, sinks, bath tub, toilets, EVERYTHING with disinfecting wipes & fabuloso & paper towels. I honestly thought my stay was very good & I also thought the staff was friendly (a front maybe??), I even gave a 5 star review & recommended the place on their feedback page (I wish I hadn't!!). I checked out & started my long journey back to MT. Along the way I received a few emails stating I left a "messy room" & was charged 2 cleaning fees, 1 for $150 for a cleaning fee & another for $75 for "extra time" cleaning the room so $225 in cleaning fees!! The emails stated there was a pillow with dark stains "all over the pillow", NOT TRUE!! The dark stain was at least an inch tall & half inch wide. Email also stated there was "blood" & "urine" on the linens & the linens "can't be saved", NOT TRUE!! The so called blood was chocolate, the "urine" was a fountain pop I accidentally tipped over. I didn't think anything of these things because they could have been washed like any other sheets & pillows cases!! The room WAS NOT messy because I had thoroughly cleaned it, I even picked up crumbs with my hands to help take the load off the cleaning people. This teaches me to record when I leave the rooms to prove we DO NOT leave messy rooms. I shouldn't have to do this but I will because $225 is ridiculous!! I am so disappointed at Best Western in Duchesne. I don't appreciate being lied about & I really don't appreciate them stealing money from my account. After I read those emails I froze my card incase they came up with another BS fee!! Of all the many years we have stayed at Best Western hotels this is the very first time anything like this has ever happened!! I am truly disgusted by Best Western Duchesne!! I read other reviews & this isn't the first time they charged BS fees. Beware people, if you stay here you need to leave your rooms completely spotless & crumb free or be charged $225 cleaning fees!!

Clean, comfortable bed, equipped kitchen, larger fridge, nicely done included breakfast with many options. Most importantly the hotel met our request of first floor room nearest entrance as we both have physical limitations. This was greatly appreciated. We travel there twice a year and will now ask for room 105!

The hotel was clean, mattress and pillows both soft and comfortable. The lady with the English accent that does the breakfast was great. Very friendly and courteous and a wide variety to eat.

We stayed in room 213. The room was nice. The only issue is the cold shower. The shower head is equivalent to an RV and did not have enough pressure to ignite the water heater. The only way to get hot water is to take a bath. The mattress is very firm and the pillows are small. The quality of this room is not worth the 150.00 p/n price. The pucture below is the full pressure of the shower.

Nice rooms and really nice breakfast buffet. Especially enjoyed talking with the cook about his recipes and the extra effort he makes to help people start their day right.

The location and cleanliness was above average, with the breakfast staff being exceptional

There was not much in the town, but we chose this location because of the wonderful reviews for the hotel. It did not disappoint. It was clean, comfortable, with a wonderful restaurant.

I absolutely rarely give the highest score. This one was so wonderful we extended our stay! There was a good AC, blackout curtains and great bed and wonderful breakfast with amazing food including protein!

Was a great choice for the Duchesne area.

Toilets are really short. Hard to get off of.

A/C was Awesome
