Great location to easily explore Charleston.
Pros:

The location was excellent. Super close to the Market and very walkable to many of the restaurants and sites we wanted to visit.
The 5:00 wine and cheese was a very nice touch, as was the cookies and milk at 8.

Cons:

Breakfast was ok. It was more like what I would expect at a chain hotel.

enjoyed our stay at the Meeting Street Inn and all it offered!
Pros:

loved the hospitality, room was always clean and very comfortable, loved it was easy access to all we were there to do and
great selection of restaurants in the area.

Cons:

too hot the week we were there for a hot tub. but loved the atmosphere of the courtyard.

Prix totalement excessifs par rapport au confort de l'hôtel. Mais je ne sais pas si c'est une arnaque de booking ou les prix de l'hôtel. Il semble qu'une réservation en direct est moins chère. Fini booking

Great location, but average stay
Pros:

Excellent location, near several attractions including Rainbow Row, shopping, restaurants, and the City Market. Lovely 5 p.m. wine and appetizer hour. Easy check in and check out.

Cons:

There is major construction happening just beside the property (which is obviously out of the hotel's control.) The construction starts early in the morning, so prepare for site noise and dust. The hotel room was dark (lacking natural light) and the temperature/thermostat was difficult to control (hot and then very cold). The hotel lobby had a funny odor, too.

Great spot in the heart of downtown - perfect for a easy base to explore the city and friendly staff
Pros:

Great room - spacious, clean , great bed and nice bathroom. Close to all the main sights downtown

This is just a glorified motel with a major construction site right next door. It is extremely unfair not to mention that prior to booking.

Wine and cheese social. Location. Staff was wonderful. But was charged accidently for the room deposit. They said they would take it off and didn't. They said booking charged us and has to fix it. We were there 3 nights and it cost us 1309.62. We didn't sleep because the old fashion air conditioner kept us up and we had to drive back to Florida. Still begging for our 359.00 back.

Cons:

Very loud air conditioner. Old fashion kind out windows. Charging us a deposit when we left the room clean as a whistle.

Delightful Stay!
Pros:

We booked the King Suite on the second floor; our first time visiting Charleston for a five night stay. .The Inn was walking distance to some of the places we wanted to explore, and to the four restaurants we had made reservations for dinner. Their parking lot was convenient, a brief 3-minute walk from the Inn. We were impressed by the variety of quality breakfast choices provided, different every morning, and their yogurt reminded me of the kind served in the Nordic countries, creamy, light, and fresh-tasting. Everyone on staff was naturally cordial and most welcoming.

Pros:

I liked the close proximity to eating and shops. The parking is a bit of a mess. I recommend paying for valet. The room's outside sitting area is not clean. The bathroom was updated and clean. The bed not too hard or soft. We loved the old charm the hotel had.

Cons:

We wanted a little privacy well sitting outside our room, however, the outside space was dirty and had no chairs.
