I could not ask for a better location in historic area of Charleston. It was right on point for everything we needed.
I liked everything about it. It was nice quiet comfortable felt safe.
Staff was nice, room was very nice and clean.
Great location
Would have loved to have a restaurant on site but the happy hour was nice.
We had a wonderful stay at Meeting Street Inn! The location is perfect, making it easy to explore historic Charleston on foot. The staff was warm and welcoming, the courtyard was beautiful, and the complimentary wine and cheese at 5 pm was such a lovely touch. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!
The location was excellent. Super close to the Market and very walkable to many of the restaurants and sites we wanted to visit.
The 5:00 wine and cheese was a very nice touch, as was the cookies and milk at 8.
Breakfast was ok. It was more like what I would expect at a chain hotel.
We recently stayed at The Meeting Street Inn for an extended long weekend. We were there with family, all of us seniors. We found the inn to be comfortable. The location and the atmosphere were great. Our room was very nice, although more attention could have been paid to vacuuming the carpets. While breakfast was just adequate on weekdays, we found that it was much better on the weekend with many more offerings. All in all, we would definitely stay there again.
continental breakfast
wine and cheese at 5 P{M
left bolt on toilet seat needed tightning
1 of 4 bulbs over vanity burnt out
No water provided guests for our whole stay. We shouldn't have had to purchase it. We were in a double room, 110 back in the employee laundry bin area which was dark and crowded with the bins, and very hot vs. other double rooms across from the pool that per a maid, were open and unused. Limited/difficult parking in front of hotel to check in/out. Challenging to navigate through courtyard with luggage caddy. Staff cleaning up after breakfast and wine/cheese presentation need to stop slamming dishes in general into and out of the dishwasher. On a positive note, we thought the breakfast and wine/cheese selections were very nice. Suggest self park for $25/night. Lot is uncovered and unguarded, approx. 3 blocks away but walkable. Overall good location for dining/shopping/historic sites.
Great location. Clean and good service
loved the hospitality, room was always clean and very comfortable, loved it was easy access to all we were there to do and
great selection of restaurants in the area.
too hot the week we were there for a hot tub. but loved the atmosphere of the courtyard.
Prix totalement excessifs par rapport au confort de l'hôtel. Mais je ne sais pas si c'est une arnaque de booking ou les prix de l'hôtel. Il semble qu'une réservation en direct est moins chère. Fini booking
L'honnêteté de booking
I can’t say enough good things about the Meeting Street Inn- we arrived on a busy Friday afternoon to check in, only to be told that there was no reservation for us. Turns out, I mistakenly booked a room for the prior night. Fortunately, the receptionist was able to get us a room for that night at the same rate. The wonderful manager, who was standing by, waived our “no show fee” for the prior night (cost of one nights stay!). The manager even managed to secure us a dinner reservation at a nice restaurant for that evening as mis-scheduled that one also!
The hotel is very clean, in a great location, and had a wonderful evening cocktail hour with wine, cheese & even craft beer!
Great room - spacious, clean , great bed and nice bathroom. Close to all the main sights downtown
Be nice if there were some drinks or snacks in minibar on arrival
Excellent location, near several attractions including Rainbow Row, shopping, restaurants, and the City Market. Lovely 5 p.m. wine and appetizer hour. Easy check in and check out.
There is major construction happening just beside the property (which is obviously out of the hotel's control.) The construction starts early in the morning, so prepare for site noise and dust. The hotel room was dark (lacking natural light) and the temperature/thermostat was difficult to control (hot and then very cold). The hotel lobby had a funny odor, too.
Second time staying at the Meeting Street Inn and it was just as great as the first! It’s an ideal location with a great happy hour and breakfast.
The best staff ….Julia, Ty, Bella, Ms. Renee …to name a few, are always willing and able to help. .
Wine and cheese social. Location. Staff was wonderful. But was charged accidently for the room deposit. They said they would take it off and didn't. They said booking charged us and has to fix it. We were there 3 nights and it cost us 1309.62. We didn't sleep because the old fashion air conditioner kept us up and we had to drive back to Florida. Still begging for our 359.00 back.
Very loud air conditioner. Old fashion kind out windows. Charging us a deposit when we left the room clean as a whistle.
