Nice new amenities but dont stay in room next to elevator or lower floors due to noise

Very clean and new, room was spacious, bedside reading lights nice touch. Breakfast was exceptional, staff nice.

Cons:

We were in Room 220 next to elevator aNd above lobby, so very very noisy - due to elevator noise and vibration it was like bowling balls going over the floor constantly. This room should not be rented and better use would be conversion to housekeeping storage due to noise. New vinyl flooring is cleaner but noisier for units below. Could not be relocated due to hotel being “sold out”.
