J8 Hotel

I love this hotel because of location. There is a mamak stall near to hotel and walking distance to Bugis Street, Hajah Maimunah Restaurant etc.

Please make sure the room is always clean before providing to guest.

We stayed here on our way back to Australia. Never again, No windows. The room was like a prison cell, Toilet, basin and shower all combined (just like a prison cell). No hot water to the basin. The bed was old and squeaked. The location was in a very poor area and I saw a dead rat on the footpath outside. Price was AUD$370. You could get 5 star in Melbourne for this price. I can't believe some travellers gave this place 10/10. Makes a mockery of reviews. Breakfast was very ordinary. Travellers, stay clear.

Many food outlets near by and close to the Metro. We had a room without a window. It is purely a place to sleep.

Friendly staff, nice meals

The location was decent — Little India has a great vibe and plenty of energy. However, some of the hotel staff were quite unhelpful, and the room setup was disappointing. The Deluxe Silver room I booked I was expected to be compact, but I didn’t anticipate a combined shower and toilet, with the shower head directly above the toilet in such a tiny space. On top of that, the hotel didn’t respond to any of my messages prior to arrival.

Reality and pictures are different

Unreliable, we have to get out of the room and be closer to street. The breakfast was just fair and sufficient enough.

Quite far from the train station. Location is hard to find. Reception is concealed by the cafe.

It's Singapore so what can you expect. Room with no windows for a price of 5 star hotel in some other countries.

Located in a vibrant area with lots of authentic character and dining options. No traditional breakfast options on any day so not worth paying for. Not especially welcoming. Room very small and basic, less than travelodge. No fresh water refill. English not really understood. Not really likely to be good for Western Tourists unless backpackers.

I liked the price for the room . Staff were very obliging when I needed to leave a bag for a day. Breakfast was included which I thought was generous

Staff were friendly and helpful, was mostly clean but could have been slightly more thorough. Good food service too.
