Important information:

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. All bookings are subject to a Heritage Charge per room per night. This is to be paid directly to the hotel.

如果洗澡热水器是有热水的，那么就体验感满满了

Swiss Hotel Melaka
Pros:

Location, just few minutes walk from Jonker Street and shops

Cons:

Our 2nd time staying at this hotel. This time around, we booked a different room for family of 5. Room 323 spacious and exactly like pictures shown. Front desk team were friendly and polite.
There's few parts that did not meet our expectations (note 3rd floors still undergoing renovation/upgrading):

1) Lower bathroom water drainage a bit blocked, slow and wet the floors. There's strong urine smell upon check-in, we had to keep spraying fragrances to minimise the awful smell. Fresh towels with minor spots/stains.
2) Upper toilet light a bit dim and no ventilation fan
3) Both upper and lower toilet doesn't have hot water running.
4) Unit smells a bit musky/humid when check-in. Improve after few hours.
5) Floor parquet near balcony uneven, dangerous and may cut feet if not careful as no indoor slippers provided (good thing we always brought our own)
6) Noise from the street and upgrading works starts around 8am+

Overall, it was still a good stay and we will still choose this hotel for our next visit. Thank you Swiss Hotel! :)

Malacca
Pros:

Location! Jonker Street locates just behind our hotel. We were lucky to get a room not facing main road, pretty quiet.

Cons:

Nothing, happy with the last minute deal as we had an unplanned stop over at Malacca.
