There is perpetual renovation at the hotel. Throughout the day, starting morning, there is constant drilling and hammer-banging sounds. This made it impossible to stay in the room during the day. We were forced to leave the hotel room to maintain sanity. Further, the air conditioning system was spoilt which led to night time trauma of loud AC sounds. No sleep possible. On the last day, hotel sent some technicians to fix the AC. They made it a tag bit better, but still far below par for any decent hotel. To top it all, the reception messed up their billing. After clearing the bonfire invoice a day in advance, we were asked to pay (and had to pay) and additional amount after check out, when we were already in Delhi.

I would strongly recommend against staying at Clarks. Atleast till they have completed their entire renovation and upgraded the AC system.

GOOD value for money , will come back same place
Pros:

cleanliness and very spacious common area and the breakfast restaurant in particular

Cons:

Autos rickshaw and private car agents solicit you as soon as you step out of the hotel , not accepting NO as an answer. would be good to have a security person at both the gates to facilitate. They were not rude just persistent

Little dated infrastructure and facility

It’s an old property good location for those who target Old Lucknow

Cons:

It’s quite old property in terms of favorite room decor room amenities
Rooms and floors has an old smell which usually comes from old property where things are not maintained properly and updated regularly

Pros:

Cleanliness wasn't good, breakfast options were Limited and repetitive which was disappointing for such an establishment. There are better options at lower or similar price range that fill the gaps found here

a very average 4 star property not a 5 star as listed
Pros:

The room size was nice, the staff was great, the property location was amazing, central to most of the attraction, the breakfast area was beautifully done and nice

Cons:

Food was very very average, for the price point that it was there the options were fairly limited, so not really value for money, the breakfast options were very bad and every thing in breakfast was like street food, very very spicy , very very limited and even after 1 hour of opening was not fully ready. The food was the biggest let down and limitations of the hotel and offering

Beautiful place which reflects the culture of Lucknow.
Pros:

Great staff. My old relative was helped to the facilites and wheel chair provided even when she was not staying at the hotel. Thanks to the staff.
