This hotel strikes an excellent balance of price and quality. The rooms are modern and have the features that you need. The staff at the front desk are friendly and professional.
Nothing.
very good room with a nice view, friendly staff, good quality breakfast in the foyer
Proximity to city centre and reasonable cafe's and restaurants. Clean and tidy albeit space constrained facilities.
The car parking arrangement whilst convenient in location was very much space constrained and for the owner of a medium or larger SUV parking required a level of driving skills that I am afraid some folks do not possess!
The atea was good and the breakfast a good size.
No door to separate toilet, anb room small.
Great location, comfortable bed, very quiet
The sliding bathroom door was a little cumbersome
The bed was comfortable, pillows good quality, the tea and coffee and coffee machine, the iron, the shower head was lovely and pressure wonderful, and the hotel was quiet so helpful for a good sleep. It's right in the middle of the city and the staff are friendly and helpful.
The parking available was wilson next door, and cost extra. I parked on the same level as my room, assuming the parking connected to the hotel next door. It seems they've bricked up the entry/exit from each floor for some reason so you now have to go down to level 2, then get out and walk down the driveway, where cars are coming and going in the same shared space, as there's no pedestrian only access, and go all the way around to go inside to reception where you can get in the lift to go up to your room. It's a bit of a safety issue and a bit of an annoying thing. Not much the hotel can do but it's like this lovely hotel and lovely facilities and everything, and then you go out to your car and the parking area has the smallest bays, and the other things I mentioned already, and it's dirty and run down. The other thing was that I thought I would have a view, for some reason. I got a frosted glass, cos it turns out my room overlooked the parking lot where my car was! You could see my room from my car, though you absolutely couldn't see through! I'm not sure if it's because there is only one of me, if you only get a view when you book a bigger room? The website said it overlooked the river with river views so I just thought I'd get a river view. The other thing was that the air con was set to cool, and I didn't know this. I got very cold and realized so set it to heat, but I would have actually rathered have it a little cooler than I ended up having to have it, because it's easier to sleep in the cool with a warm blanket. But there was no warm blanket anywhere! Just the light quilt on the bed. If you have heat to sleep and don't have heavy/warm blankets in winter then you'll probably love it (if you check it's not on cool when you come in!) but I sleep with it cold with a good quilt and a heavy blanket.
Breakfast was good, l8cation was perfect
The bed and the bath. Also the special touches for our stay such as the happy birthday sign and wine
Small elevators but luckily we didn't have our child and the pram this time
The location was great because our event was so close. Front counter staff are extremely helpful.
Had a chicken miso type dish at the restaurant and it was awful. Alcohol was over priced.
Located in a close location to event areas and the casino.
No windows or balcony, room was bare bones and likely more expensive due to the location of the hotel. Can hear neighbouring residents when they open and close doors in the middle of the night.
