A beautiful hotel. Amazing food.

No food Monday or Tuesday restaurant should of been open
Wednesday but was not they said it’s only open for weddings
And funerals.

Very nice room with all facilities and a superb view over the gardens and lake.
Typical cold continental breakfast but hot eggs of any type available on request.
Only 8 minute drive to Ypres so had easy access to our main objective of the Menin Gate ceremony at 8pm. Park near the Flanders Museum in the centre, no parking charges after 6.30 pm

As our booking of a hotel in Ypres through your app failed to work, we had to find accommodation in the area at very short notice. Finding Domein de Lissewal went a long way towards making up for the inconvenience. It is a lovely modern hotel, on the edge of a park (which my room overlooked) in its own manicured grounds. Although there was a wedding reception being held when I arrived, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The bedrooms are large, comfortable, well equipped and immaculate. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with good scrambled eggs made for us. The hotel gives good value for the money, within easy reach of Ypres.

Domaine de Lissewal was GORGEOUS, comfortable, conveniently located, and staffed with the nicest people. We practically had the place to ourselves and still had the highest quality service. I want to go back immediately!

We stayed one night at the end of September as part of a weekend trip to Ypres. The hotel is about 4 miles from Ypres but very easy to find on a direct road from the hotel. There is plenty of secure parking space. The complex itself comprises mainly of a large function room, and indeed when we stayed there was a wedding party going on. These communal areas are very well kept. The hotel part, as I remember, has only 8 rooms, accessed via a lift or an open narrow staircase. The room we had was beautiful and spotless and a good night's sleep was had on an extremely comfortable bed. Only comment is we could have done with a couple more pillows. Breakfast was a self-service buffet style with plenty of choice. Overall an excellent stay and a very good choice for visiting Ypres, without staying right in the centre of the town. We would definitely stay again

Lovely rooms and great breakfast choices

On Saturday evening a wedding was ongoing and loud music was stopping some of our party from sleeping
Loud music until 4 am
Dining room for breakfast was very stuffy as patio doors were locked and evening reception had been in this room

Hotel and grounds were lovely, very clean, the staff extremely helpful, they were happy to prepare scrambled eggs especially for me with no dairy included. Short drive from the centre of Ieper. Would happily return.

Nice hotel a few kilometers out of Ypres. Perfect base for visiting the Flanders battle fields and memorials. Lovely staff and great value with breakfast included.

Excellent !!

This was chosen for its proximity to the town of Brugge. The staff are really friendly and it seems cannot do enough for you. The room was great and as we were wet from riding a motorcycle the towel radiator was a welcome bonus. The car park is free and right outside the reception. The hotel operates a shuttle bus to town with various times. very well recommended

Whilst it was a disappointment that the restaurant was not open on the night of our stay we had an excellent room and the general condition of the hotel was good. The breakfast was simple and straightforward. Check out was simple and quick.

From the moment we were received till we left we felt welcome. we will stay again

Nice hotel, but unable to make use of it. When we arrived we had to interrupt a wedding celebration just to get to the checkin desk. We were then told that we couldn't bring our luggage through and that the rest of the hotel was out of bounds. So effectively we had to either go into Ypres (10 min drive) or be prisoners in our own hotel room.

We would never have booked if this was the case. Especially considering this cost use 130 euros :-(

The breakfast wasn't up to much either, the place felt like the Mary Celeste in the morning.

Comfortable modern room. Very quiet area not far from Ypres. Stayed 5 nights 2 of which an evening meal was not available. Otherwise we were looked after very well. Good buffet selection at breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay at Elverdinge. The welcome, hospitality and venue were great. Lars and others were very welcoming. While the room was small the garden was beautiful. And a great position for us to explore the area around Ypres, especially the battlefields. Would highly recommend this place

It was a business stay but the hotel was good, in the right area - clean and comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

All excellent apart from pillows, very uncomfortable &I no fridge. Staff excellent.
