A comfortable stay in a small town
Pros:

We came to Rimbey for 2 days on Christmas holidays to enjoy some nature and snowshoeing within a short drive (140 km) from Edmonton. Unfortunately the weather wasn't accommodating (rotten thaw) but we still had a nice snap of winter at nearby Open Creek Dam trails. We had two rooms - a King one and a Two Queen one, next to one another. The rooms were very comfy and spacious, although they didn't have any utilities other than a coffeemaker (no microwave). Before sleep, my wife and I went to dip in the swimming pool, which was very pleasant. There is also an Aquatic Centre in the town, but we didn't have time to go there. At night, when she was asleep, I needed to work; and the staff opened the Business Centre for me, which was very accommodating.

The hotel is located right at Highway 53 and has a lot of free parking. Overall, a very pleasant stay for such a small town!

Cons:

Probably not a big deal for others, but the festive display at the front included a monotonous music tune that was playing non-stop for both days and nights we stayed there. Especially at night when I was working, it drove me crazy!

My wife went for breakfast on one morning, and brought some fresh fruit and strawberry jam (my favourite). These were the only things she found edible. To be honest, it is rarely any better even in bigger hotels.

The town is short of good restaurants. On the second evening, we drove 20 km to Sylvan Lake for a dinner. It was very nice!

This is a nice place to stay! The rooms are spotless, the included breakfast is really good and this day and age, it's good value for $$$. The staff are exceptional. Professional, courteous, helpful & friendly. Everyone we encountered clearly liked working there.

Jaskirat is the best!
Pros:

This was the best stay we ever had because of Jaskirat! Sooooo nice, kind and very accommodating! I didn’t know that there is a person like him in the hotel industry. Quality Inn so lucky to have him. Always above and beyond service!

Just 3 things I didn’t like at Quality Inn were their AC (on and off in the middle of the night, felt so uncomfortable), bath tub (clogging) and sink (clogging) but other than that, stay was simply amazing!
