The good: very nice staff. Nice pool and grounds. The not good: maybe we just had a bad room but it small, the bed was uncomfortable, and the room, bathroom, and sheets (linens would be an exaggeration) did not feel clean. The hotel is right on the street noisy and parking is difficult (but parking is difficult in all of Montezuma). Also, the room did not feel secure (easy to break into - and I felt like that was a possibility). Wasn't my favorite stay.

Gabriel was excellent with the communication for our trip, both before and during. The hotel location is excellent, being very close to all the action of Montezuma. Our room was spacious and the pool area is clean and well maintained. Would definitely recommend and plan a trip back!

Staying here was great! Everyone was very friendly. Loved seeing the capuchin monkeys daily! Very smart and entertaining. Several excellent restaurants in walking distance, and good shops!

Pros:

El Jardin is a delightful hotel right in the center of Montezuma. It is steps away from the beach. I was especially impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the beautiful grounds. Rooms are clean and nice.

Lovely property, very unique and very beautiful. The sounding area was walkable. Roughly a 20 minute walk to Montezuma waterfall where you can swim too. 5 min walk to beach. We arrived late and the staff waited around until 8:30. Great experiences throughout.

Our stay was very pleasant. The property is very well-kept. The room was nice. There is AC but it was not very strong. It works enough but you will not get cold no matter how low you put the temperature. Very walkable, right in the center of montezuma, very convenient.

Clean comfy place literally 2 min walk from the beach and main little strip with shops and restaurants. Amazingly helpful and Honest staff! I left my $200 earbuds behind, and the manager Gabriel went out of his way to package and mail it to my home in California! Pura Vida
