Äußerst charmant, sehr nettes Service, köstliches Frühstück.
This is a charming hotel. It is small and intimate. The courtyard is beautiful, with flowers and at night, candles for atmosphere.
The staff and owner were very gracious and helpful.
The views from our balcony and from the terraza were great. We especially liked watching the birds fly from the cliffs.
There is nothing!
Beautiful hotel . Common areas nice, decor typical to the region.Staff helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast.
Anyone coming here should know that parking is a 20 minute walk and it’s steep going on the way in. I saw no taxis at any point to help me to the hotel. Also bring your own soap
Very central location. Comfortable old (historic) room with a terrace looking straight down the cliff! We sat there, sunbathing in the cosy deck-chairs with the jackdaws flying around, roosting on the small ledges below us. But beides all this, the house alone is a treasure worth exploring.
Breakfast was charmingly served in the cool foyer. There is also a roof terrace.
Concerning parking; the underground place El Paseo costs 10 per night for guests of La Casa Grande. We walked up but thete is a taxi nearby. (We tried parking 'Arcos' but it was full & very difficult to get out again. Also I felt the locals didnt appreciate tourists taking place there.)
If you want to feel like you are living like a Andalusian, this is were you stay. Wine and cheese from your room patio high above the valley!
Prachtige locatie, mooi sfeervol huis. Goed ontbijt.
Niets
Magnificent terrace perched on the hilltop town’s cliffs, overlooking a jaw-dropping view. You feel like a guest in a small palace, which it is. Lovingly restored and artfully decorated, very comfortable with kind staff. Our sweet room used to be a dovecote up in the roof terrace, where we caught sunrises, afternoon siestas and silent starry nights. Arcos is the best of the best of hill towns.
Very authentic, beautiful views, nice rooms, very welcoming staff
