A little piece of bliss.
Pros:

If you need to be in Greensboro for any reason, stay here. Seriously. Stop looking, pay a little extra, and you won't be disappointed. I've traveled around the country a lot and this is one of the best places I've ever stayed. The staff was kind and professional, the rooms are immaculate and well appointed, and the food in the restaurant was sublime. (I have years of fine dining experience, and this place blew my socks off.) Every little detail in this hotel is thought out, from the little coat racks built into the beams in the restaurant, to the aveda soaps and shampoos in your bathroom, to the bluetooth speaker systems built into the rooms, floor to ceiling windows, filtered water machines on each floor, gourmet teas and coffee in your room ... I could go on and on. I rarely write reviews, but I had to share how wonderful this place is. Thank you for a perfect stay!

Proximity Hotel/Great stay!
Pros:

Courteous staff, great dining experience and friendly bar service. Upscale rooms/bathrooms and furnishings and everything was exceptionally clean. Highly recommend if in the Greensboro/Triad area.

Pros:

Excellent from the moment we walked in and met the Manager. Super nice young man, who made us feel like we were long-lost friends. The world could use more people like him; we’d be so much better off. Maybe he should run for President.

An awesome birthday staycation!!
Pros:

Beautiful, modern! The King Spa Rooms on the top floor were amazing. Staff was immediate responsive to any and all needs!

Great Place To Stay
Pros:

wonderful hotel. Staff was super nice and rooms were very clean. Beds very comfortable. Coffee in lobby was very good. Restaurant was great. staff in both places went our of their way to be helpful.

The Proximity is fabulous
Pros:

We loved our stay at The Proximity hotel! Every employee that we encountered was warm, friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby is beautiful to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. The attached restaurant has a charming atmosphere with delicious food. Our room was large and we joked that we had enough seating to entertain friends in our room. The layout of the room and storage is very well thought out. There is a microwave and mini refrigerator. I always appreciate a magnifying mirror in the bathroom and a dressing area with an outlet outside the bathroom so I can do my hair. Would love to stay here again!

Lovely hotel, would stay again - but please turn the music down!
Pros:

The staff were so friendly, room was lively, loved the little sitting rooms on each floor with water available. Lovely decor, restaurants very nice!

Cons:

The music is playing 24/7 in all areas inside and outside of the property. At times it is almost impossible to concentrate. I was there for work and I had to move to work in my room instead in the common areas or restaurant. (We did ask for it to be turned down at one point)

Bad weather = fantastic experience at the Proximity Hotel

Great Hotel with Fantastic Staff
Pros:

The staff at the Proximity are top notch. Even with the snow/ice storm all of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. The rooms are lovely and spacious. They were also very clean and quiet. The onsite restaurant Printworks was wonderful. The food and staff were great. We live local and were at the hotel over my mom's 85th birthday celebration. We have never stayed here before but can't wait to come back again.

For Greensboro
Pros:

Location excellent. Staff were very friendly and very helpful.
Nice rooms and areas within hotel - significantly better than anywhere else I have stayed in Greensboro.

Cons:

Description on Booking.com wasn’t always correct. Eg on booking.com it says you can have a bath or shower but reality is that there was only a shower. The prices for meals on Booking.com were incorrect. The staff were very helpful at letting me know what they had/hadn’t got and yes I could get breakfast items for a similar rate. But really they should honour what is shown on the confirmed booking.

Small details but just a few comforts missing in room - shampoos etc, tea/coffee provided were really for 1 person and not 2. Yes they gave me more when I asked. Spoon for making tea/coffee would be helpful - wooden stick quite hard for coffee bags. Equally more milk required.

Bin in main room and not just near loo would be a good idea (another one provided later in stay).
