Pleasant stay, great views of the Matterhorn with old-school hospitality.
Pros:

A very pleasant stay, thanks largely to the exceptional owner, Richard. who was warm, attentive, and truly welcoming both to his town of Zermatt and his hotel. The property has a traditional, old-school feel, but it is spotlessly clean and well maintained, which speaks volumes. Stellar views of the Matterhorn from the rooms, comfortable, cared for, and full of character.

Cons:

The hotel is a little ways up the hill so if you’d prefer not to walk or ride a bus to the chair lifts (especially with kids and skis) this hotel might not be the best option. It is located near a youth hostel that uses the same bus stop so sometimes the bus is very crowded with bigger groups.

Pros:

대박 숙소였습니다.
리차드가 너무 친절하였고, 사람 너무 좋았습니다.
그리고 숙소에서 보는 마테호른은 예술이였습니다.
어떻게 이런 숙소를 고르게 되였는지 너무 감사합니다.
식사를 해먹을수있는 식탁 공간이 있어서 좋았구요.
다음에 가면 또 이곳으로 당연히 갈것입니다.
아내와 작은 딸과 행복한 3박이였습니다.

Wonderful stay with great views.
Pros:

Views were unbelievable!! Richard is a great host, very knowledgeable and helpful.

Cons:

Figuring out the trash! Very specific as to what trash goes into what bin. But I’m sure that’s a Switzerland thing and not specific to this hotel.

Wonderful long weekend in Zermatt and expert tips on hikes from the owner!
Pros:

Artist Apartments & Hotel Garni are wonderfully located, centrally, but slightly off the beaten track of the charming village of Zermatt. The owner, Richard, is very helpful in planning any trips and hikes and some apartments offer the most stunning view of the crown jewel: the Matterhorn.

Very scenic spot in a good area close to lots of stores and restaurants.
Pros:

Amazing view of the Matterhorn, great host, cozy rooms from the cold and a comfortable bed.

Cons:

There’s a big hill you have to walk up and down to get anywhere, so it gets difficult after a long hike.

Unforgettable views of the Matterhorn!
Pros:

Richard who ran the hotel is very friendly! He even picked us up from the train station and drove us to the hotel so we didn’t have to carry our luggage. Also the view from our room was absolutely unreal!

Cons:

One of the dryers didn’t work properly so we had to keep going down stairs every 10minutes to keep it going. When the second dryer was free we used that one and it was fine!

Falls wir nochmals nach Zermatt kommen, nur dieses Hotel!
Pros:

Es ist ein sehr schönes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Apartment Hotel. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.
Es gibt kostenlosen Fahrservice zum und vom Bahnhof bei An - und Abreise.
Einmal pro Woche kann ein Raclette - und / oder Käsefondueabend mit Hüttenatmosphäre günstig im Hotel gebucht werden.
Wir hatten freien Blick auf das Matterhorn aus dem Apartmentfenster und vom Balkon aus.
Falls wir nochmals nach Zermatt kommen, nur dieses Hotel!

Wir kommen wieder.
Pros:

Super Betreuung durch Richard JEDERZEIT.
Die Bettdecken sind 240cm lang und sehr bequem. Lift vorhanden. In Haus Angebote für Regentage.

Alles gut.
