Debit and credit cards will be pre-authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount of GBP 100 per room per night to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Pre-authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges. Children can be accommodated in rooms subject to bedding. Pets are allowed but only in certain room categories and with the below conditions: - Animal must weigh 20lbs / 9.1kg or less. - GBP 100 nonrefundable deposit will be collected upon arrival. - Contract/Waiver must be signed upon arrival. - Pets are not allowed in the bars or restaurants. - Pets may not be unattended in guest rooms. Please note, the card holder and the same card used to make the booking must be present at check-in. If the card is not presented, the property will require another payment method. Smoking, including the smoking of e-cigarettes and vaping, is prohibited everywhere on our premises, except for the patios of Superior Patio Rooms. Please note that, in case a guest if found smoking in our premises, a fine of £350 will be applied to the bill. You may smoke on the terrace of the 12th Knot bar from the opening time of the venue until 10.00 p.m. Smoking is also permitted on the river walk alongside the hotel, and cigarette posts are available for guests’ use. From July 2023 a discretionary 5% accommodations service charge will be added to your bill on check-out. This is distributed among our staff.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Gorgeous, luxurious and comfortable. Really good customer service from start to finish, music and art curation here is spot on, the roof top bar is a special venue perfect for sunset cocktails. I’ve stayed 4 times now and I love it.

We recently stayed at Sea Containers to celebrate my mother’s belated 70th birthday, and once again, it was a truly wonderful experience.
We have been regular guests at the hotel for some time now, and we absolutely love everything about it, the beautiful rooms, the fantastic location, and the excellent breakfast. It really is a fabulous hotel, made even more special by its brilliant staff.
There is, however, one person in particular who deserves a very special mention, and that is Lamesh. Over the years, we have come to know him well, and he is an absolute gem. In many ways, he is one of the main reasons we return year after year. Lamesh is simply outstanding, always greeting us with the warmest smile and the kindest welcome every single time we visit.
What makes him even more special is how well he remembers our children, who did not join us on this occasion but absolutely adore him just as much as we do. His warmth, generosity, and genuine care are a real credit to the hotel and make every stay feel incredibly personal and memorable.
We are already booking to return later this year, this time with our children, and they are so excited, not only to enjoy the amazing hotel again, but also to see Lamesh. We all had a fantastic time, and my mother absolutely loved her first experience at Sea Containers.
It remains a place we will continue to return to year after year for our special weekend breaks.

È la terza volta che soggiorno al Sea Containers e ne resto sempre soddisfatta. L'albergo è veramente molto bello a pochi metri dalla stazione dei treni di Blackfriars, comodissimo per chi arriva o parte via Gatwick. In pochi minuti a piedi si raggiungono diversi teatri, la Tate Modern e si può raggiungere il centro con una comoda passeggiata di 15/20 minuti. Questa volta mi hanno offerto un upgrade gratuito e la stanza dove ho soggiornato era veramente enorme. Il bagno con vasca e doccia, letto comodissimo, davvero uno dei letti più comodi su cui abbia mai dormito, pulizia impeccabile. In camera è presente una macchina nespresso e un bollitore per il tè. Acqua freschissima sempre a disposizione dalla fontanella presente ad ogni piano e temperatura della camera regolabile. Tutto lo staff è sempre gentilissimo e disponibile.

A beautiful hotel in a very convenient location. I stayed there with my husband for four nights in March 2026. We stayed in the River View Balcony Suite with great views of the river Thames. The room was spotless, the staff friendly, especially Jairo who was extremely helpful and made our stay extra special. The amenities in the hotel were superb. We enjoy travelling to London and have stayed in some lovely hotels, but Sea Containers will be our go to hotel for all future visits.

Really nice room I think they have had a refurbished since the last time I came which was about four years ago. Service at breakfast was amazing - Felicia nailed it!

Perfect location nice ppl
I have always fancied trying this hotel, but wanted an occasion. We booked a short notice theatre trip needed a comfy bed, so thought "why not"! From the moment we stepped into the door we felt welcomed, wanted and at ease. It's a fantastic hotel, nautical themed, with very high standards everywhere. Beds were super comfy, room overlooking the Thames was a treat and breakfast was delicious! We will be back.
