The breakfast of 180 was just a normal oily food we do at home, room is good at least they must change the funiture, needs colors and alive breakfast place not like an old hotel in the central of Johannesburg.

If given a chance I would definitely come back to Apollo, the hospitality from the security, to the reception & the kitchen staff was exceptionally beyond words. Loved every minute of the stay. Yoh the breakfast was superb 👌👌, Thank you Apollo for making us feel at home. The room was clean, the bed so comfortable. Loved every thing. Thank you 🙏🙏🙌

This was not a great experience as a result I checked out early and found another place. Between 2am and 3am, on my first night the door to my room was opened by someone while I was in bed. I called reception to notify them of this incident - no outcome came of it. The noise levels were unbearable, I could not sleep until past 4am because people were very chatty and loud by the pool area and corridors and the sound travels very loudly. I could barely find parking upon arrival at around 8PM, I managed to squeeze in by the entrance gate.
A fully functioning Wifi was the only thing good about this place!
The TV had no internet access (i.e not a "smart" modern tv) hence there's barely anything to watch.
The place felt off, quiet and boring even though it was "sold out" for this weekend.
Food was costly as well, having to pay for breakfast too.
The safe was malfunctioning.
The fridge is the smallest I've ever seen - barely more than 3 items fit inside.
Personally did not like the old Apollo theme - did not fit my style - as well as an outdated, out-of-touch key-door system as I am used to having modern keycards to unlock the door (I was assuming this fits the whole old Apollo theme which I was personally not a fan of).
Moreover, we reveived only 1 key even though I booked for 2 guests.
The location was not the best.
Not the best hotel I have been to, me and my partner were not a fan at all.
Not returning here any time soon!

Bedding & the single couch had some sort of bugs that feasted on me.Regretted not carrying my aerosol sanitiser.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
The hotel is old and needs maintenance.
