Overall an amazing stay with very courteous staff.
Pros:

The staff, rooms, cleanliness, onsen and the breakfast was amazing.
The shuttle bus was handy to get to the slopes and Hirafu you wanted to go out for dinner.

Cons:

We only ate at the buffet once.
Would have been nice if there was an option of à la carte.
We were wanting to have a choice of more traditional meals.

Pros:

Breakfast was surprisingly the best I have had from a hotel. Staff picked us up from the train station outside of their usual hours and when we did not have a reservation. Great experience and great staff.

Great value for the price!
Pros:

We choose the breakfast and dinner buffets. I must based on quality and price, plus took the stress out of finding a place to eat.

Cons:

The HVAC did not blow cold … we opened the window in the winter to cool off the room.

TV didn’t have language options. For a tourist destination the TV should be able to have multiple languages options.

The breakfast offering is great! The onsen is a bonus! Appreciate the transfer bus to and from ski resorts.

Just love it!
Pros:

It was wonderful! I love the hotel, the onsen and the personnel! It was the swcond time i have been there. Now for 8 nights.
The beginning was the same as last year. Sadly i got a room like 301-303. I assume they are old smoking rooms, and have s verry strange smell. But the jotel was amazing in giving me a other room. And a VERY nice one!

Cons:

The first room ive got (301-303) is probably a former smoking room and has a verr strange smell.
But i got instantly a new room!

Very fun traditional stay for our ski trip
Pros:

This place has the best breakfast and the Onsen experience is awesome! We staying in a traditional Japanese room and it was very fun

Pros:

Very quiet location. The onsen is fabulous. Excellent breakfast. Good navette service to the ski resorts. Excellent staff, very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

The building, particularly its exterior, would benefit from refurbishment.

Convienient for skiing, great Onsen and clean rooms.
Pros:

The shuttle bus to the ski slopes was great, room was really big and comfortable and staff were all very helpful. We used the ski rental service from the hotels website and reception staff helped leave the skis in the storage room for collection so that was handy. Refreshing spring water.

Cons:

Not all guests followed onsen etiquette properly, maybe more signs would be helpful. The location is a bit out of the way and there were limited dinner options, if there was a later shuttle it would be more convenient, but that’s not the hotels fault.

Pros:

The onsen was amazing and a great way to relax after a day of skiing. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

The facilities were a bit outdated but provided everything we needed. Location was great with the hotel ski shuttle; however, it was very hard to get around without a car outside of the complementary shuttle. Definitely not a walkable area
